876radio.com understands that the father of the warlord Bounty Killer whose real name is Rodney Pryce was laid to rest yesterday at the St. Andrew Parish Church on Hagley Park Road in Half Way Tree.

The funeral saw a large gathering with attendees from the Warlord's family, members of the Alliance and the wider entertainment fraternity.

However most notably was the absence of Vybz Kartel and Mavado the Gully Gad was said to be in New York on other professional engagements.

Constantine Basil Pryce, the father of Bounty has been ill for sometime now and only a few weeks ago succumbed to his illness. He leaves behind Ms. Ivy (Bounty's mother) and several children.

Bounty Killer has been a very dominant figure in the dancehall for more than a decade, and is known for a slew of hits over the years, among them, Poor People Fed Up, Lodge and most recently 'Nuh Fren Fish'.
