22-Month-Old Drowns In Fitzgerald

FITZGERALD, Ga. -- Fitzgerald police say a toddler drowned in a swimming pool.
The drowning occurred Friday night just before 8 p.m.
Police would not reveal where 22-month-old Tyrese Carter died, but said the investigation is ongoing. The Department of Family and Children Services is assisting in the probe.

Authorities said its likely the body will be taken to a crime lab in Atlanta on Monday.
