A 13-year-old boy, identified as Everton Hartley, was killed Saturday when a motor car hit him from his pedal cycle along the Vernamfield main road in Clarendon.
The boy's 14-year-old brother, Shavel Watson - who was riding on the same bicycle - was injured in the accident and was admitted to hospital.
The two teenagers, said the police, were riding along the Vernamfield main road heading towards Crooks Gate, when they were hit from behind by a motor car.
The driver of the car did not stop, the police reported.
