Dirty underwear once worn by Michael Jackson went up for auction on September 10, 2008.
Confiscated in 2003 as part of evidence in a case where child molestation charges were launched against the 50 year-old pop star, the pair of white 28 inch Calvin Klein briefs went up for sale on eBay with a reserve price of $1million. The then District Attorney for Santa Barbara, Tom Sneddon seized the underwear from the singers home to get DNA samples. Jackson was later acquitted of all charges.
Not the only article once owned by Jackson that is up for grabs, the underpants joins an item of memorabilia obtained by New Jersey businessman, Henry Vaccaro in a bankruptcy case.
Vaccaro is offering Jackson fans a chance to purchase a used tube of skin-bleaching cream as well as a handwritten note from Jackson to ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley in which he explains why he is asking for an annulment.
