A wild rumour raced around Kingston  that Vybz Kartel's mother and sister were shot and killed. However it is not true. The deejay denied the rumour.

A number of entertainment personalities and movers and shakers called  local offices yesterday to verify the rumours. Most expressed shock and consternation that the deejay had become entangled in such a dangerous situation
