Courtesy of WNBC.com An FAA spokeswoman said at least seven people have been killed in a small plane crash in Owatonna, Minn. Elizabeth Isham Cory said the plane crashed at or near the city airport Thursday morning. Heavy weather was moving through the area at the time. Cory said authorities believe the plane was en route from Atlantic City, N.J. Owatonna is about 60 miles south of the Twin Cities. According to the Owatonna Airport, the plane crashed at the end of the runway during its landing. The Lear Jet was reported down about two miles northwest of the airport, according to news reports. The airport is just north of the city, west of Interstate 35.
