DJ Stacious, riding a high with her top ten hit, Falling Down, delivered a high-quality, profanity-free set during International Night 1 at the Catherine Hall venue
Stacious.JPGDressed in a provocative pair of black tights and a black-and-white t-shirt with the sides slit open, Stacious was at her crazy-sexy-cool best. She hit the stage doing the ultra-popular Inna Mi Class, before seguing into the lyrically-sharp Hotta Gal.
She closed strongly with her top ten hit, Falling Down, and got a nice forward and ovation from the crowd as she delivered the song with great clarity.
I am happy that I was able to deliver my set the way I rehearsed it and the crowd really warmed to me. This is one of the biggest reggae-dancehall stage shows in the world so I am honoured to be able to participate in it, and it was a really good experience, one of the directors even came over to me after and congratulated me, so its all good, she said.
Stacious Falling Down is now #10 on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts and her followup single Goodas Clap on the Estrogen riddim is looking to blow up. A video was shot for the latter single last week and it should be available for release this week.
Its a bit racy, some people will object but most will definitely love it, she said.
