Just a few days ago 876radio.com told you that the Warlord Bounty Killer had thrown down the gauntlet to his former friends turn foes Monster Empire. He even issued a challenge to go the extra mile of paying for them to appear on one of the popular concerts over the Summer/Christmas season (Fully Loaded, Champion in Actions, Sting etc.) where he promise to bring an abrupt end to their feeble career.
Well it seems that Monster Empire was not the only ones that decided to answer the call as famed sound system selector Ghetto B**** just a few days ago released a compilation titled "The War Is On" featuring Bounty and some affiliates of the Alliance going head to head with the Empire.
The 60+ tracks compilation sees the Warlord being defeated, but honestly from 876radio.com outlook the project was very biased from the initially outset in the sense that the Monster Empire (Round Head, Ghost & General B) voiced tracks in a dub plate style directly attacking Bounty, versus the Warlord who was featured using only a few of his current 45 singles.
Word on the street is that the Warlord heard the mix and is very upset with the selector this was also concurred by popular selector Tony Matterhorn who in his usual jovial tone was overheard at a popular summer series saying, "Ghetto B****, Bounty wah see yuh.. bout yuh name Ghetto B****, is a boom (b****) him gweh drop pon yuh...laughter".
However when 876radio.com contacted Ghetto B**** he said all is well between him and the Warlord and don't know of any brewing animosity.
"Ah just since week mi see Killa and hail him and him hail mi back, suh everything criss, is just ah mix mi nah diss di general, how mi fi duh that and dem man deh ah my daddy.. Killa a mi boss ah mi seh Alliance at dem enuh it jus look a way cause mi neva get Killa fi voice nuh dub"
Whatever the case may be let's see how this all plays out base on the lyrical assaults on the mix CD, one can be assured that the Warlord will not take this one sitting down. If nothing in certain, one thing is sure, This is shaping up to an interesting Summer for Dancehall.
they may have good war tues for killa....but prove urself on the grandstage and that is the testing ground.......sum artists are studio gangsters and have no stage appearance
