If we didn't see this with our own eyes we wouldn't believe it. MediaTakeOut.com has caught wind that the fast food chain Taco Bell is looking to sign rapper 50 Cent to an endorsement deal.
And under the terms of the deal, 50 would have to change his name from 50 Cent to 99 CENTS - to promote the price of Taco Bell's new "Why Pay More" value menu. Here's an excerpt from a letter written by Taco Bell President and CEO Greg Creed:
We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change... We encourage you to 'Think Outside the Bun' and hope you accept our offer.
This may sound like some kind of joke - but we assure you - it's not. But as crazy as it sounds, this could open up the door for a world of possibilities for 50 and his G-Unit artists.
We can see it now .... G-Unit member Lloyd Banks could sign an endorsement deal with Nathan's hot dogs that would have him change his name to Lloyd FRANKS. And Tony Yayo could signing a deal with a toy company - his new name would be Tony PLAY-DOE..
I NEVER fail, i'm just SUCCESSFUL in finding out what doesn't work Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
