5 Comments written below Since the bitter split between Vybz Kartel and member of the Bounty Killer led Alliance, there has been a lingering question on the minds of many.
Will Bounty ever forgive Kartel for leaving the Alliance, and if so would he be reinstated as the prodigal son?. The reason 876radio.com ask these burning questions are based on a series of events over the past few months.
Even though there has been some harsh verbal exchanges between the two the tides are slowly changing along with their attitude towards each other. Just weeks ago at the British Link-Up party held at La Roose, Portmore, Kartel was quoted as saying "when yuh a war sometimes yuh lose some and sometimes yuh win some" immediately following that statement he 'bigged up' popular selector Jigsy and paid homage to Bounty Killer.
Bounty on the other hand was quoted in two recent television interviews as saying "Mi not running down nuh top spot like some a dem, Mi set inna life so mi a leave di business to Busy, Mavado and Kartel fi run it". When asked about the title of Deejay of the Year he said "If anybody shoulda get it ah would ah.. Mavado or Busy then Kartel, only dem three deh qualify".
At last Sundays' staging of his Birthday pool party in Norbrook where members of the Alliance were in full flight, Kartel's song 'Trailer Load A Money' received arguably the biggest forward of the night and even got the nod of approval from the Warlord and his protege Mavado.
Now with all these chains of events one cannot help but wonder if there is even a glimmer of hope that the two may one day reconcile their differences and crusade as a united front for the greater good of Dancehall. Thankfully the process has already started with Kartel and Mavado calling a truce to one of Dancehalls' biggest feud in recent times.
This has been another brain teaser brought to you by the good folks at 876radio.com
it would be good for de two a dem to link back up still nuh lie...but i glad to see that bounty realise kartel nah nttn less dan wat he was wen he bin inna alliance....big up Addi an Bounty str8!!!
it funny from kartel leave alliance him career get stagnant and i think is because him diss killa and switch to beenie so therefore killa fans turn on him and some beenie fans accept him so by losing killa fans he has less progression to make in a short time e.g mavado, and wen him switch di selectors, artist, promoters etc start move away from him e.g how many selectors in recent time u hear a say dem no like kartel and dem na play him tune dem alliance dem say check it but i say killa fi jus low him mek him do him ting him switch and diss killa inna news paper (star) so dat mean him no wa ntn fi do with killa so killa fi do di same low him no mention him name noting fi him me and di rest a ur fans na go support him so no worry but we dont want di war ting music and some nice tune fi mek ppl feel good
