COLUMBUS, GA (AP) -- A suspect is in custody in connection with the weekend stabbings of two sisters in Columbus. Police arrested 27-year-old Ronald Ragin and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, burglary and possession of a knife.
Authorities said the attacks occurred Sunday night after Ragin targeted the women's apartment for a burglary. Police said the sibling were slashed, but were not seriously injured. Investigators said a tip from the public led to Ragin's arrest.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday.
