MediaTakeOut.com told you earlier in the week that R&B singer Ashanti's new album The Declaration may not sell 80,000 units in its first week - now our worst fears have come true. Here's what the website hitsdailydouble.com is reporting:
Universal Motown pop R&B songstress Ashantis The Declaration looks to be in the 80k range.

All we can say is - WOW!!! We knew that she's have trouble selling - but 80K units???? That's almost as bad as Kelly Rowland.

We reached out to one person in Ashanti's camp about selling 80,000 units and she gave MediaTakeOut.com a one word response - "Devastating!!!"

but she aint promoting it or anything... these days u have to create some form of publicity stunt to get sales, so shes still doing it the traditional way and that aint gonna work
