June 02, 2008. R&B singer Rihanna better watch her back - because former label mate Teairra Mari is fuming mad at her. In an EXCLUSIVE interview, MediaTakeOut.com spoke with R&B singer Teairra Mari about her relationship with Rihannna - and the controversy that has her ready to fight.

It all started a little over six months ago, when R&B singer Rihanna gave the following quote to Atlanta Peach magazine:
[My relationship with Teairra Mari] was a funny situation, but I always remained humble. I was not always treated in the best manor but I always remained who I was and I was always kind in the toughest of situations.

I was just the little Caribbean girl. You have to be good to people. I could very easily say [that what happened with our career's] its all karmaGod has favor on me and has blessed me


Well when Teairra Mari heard this - she was ready to open up a can of whoop azz on the Bajan beauty. Teairra Mari explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "First of all, I never thought there was any beef. Me and [Rihanna] only had positive encounters ... So naturally when I read that, I wanted to whoop her azz."

And according to Teairra Mari - had the two met up last fall - Rihanna would have gotten the whooping she deserved. The 20 year old Tearra Mari told MediaTakeOut.com, "I was a rebellious teenager. Anybody that said anything about me, I wanted to fight."

But Tearra Mari claims that she's since put on hold her plans on beating Rihanna - unless, that is, Rihanna continues talking sideways. The lovely songstress explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "I don't want to dwell in that. I'm a classy lady. But I'm not gonna take any nonsense and I'm not gonna let anyone throw a slap or jab at me without throwing one back."
