Good hair is a mystery to me. All my life black and white ppl tell me I have good hair. Other ppl may have a different opinion. Eg. my wife hates the good hair I passed on to my little girl. He hair is more curly and not as wavy as mine and not as straight as my step daughter. They along with my wife have 3 types of hair all beautiful to me but they never satisfied. My ex wife hated her hair now she has locks.
God blessed us with variety what is good hair???????? Is some better than others.....Ladies tell a brother
Ohh my mom hates her hair and she has good hair. She has the type of hair that is always curly and the instant she adds water to it ...it gets worst. I understand why she hates it. It doesn't allow her to maintain certain hairstyles unless she perms them.
Seem like everybody is missing the point of what you're probably talking about
You mean the "good hair vs bad hair" argument that is most pervasive in the black community. Supposedly, the rougher, shorter, and more African your hair is the "worse" it is and the straighter and longer your hair is the "better" it is. I don't see hair as anything to be judged as good or bad. Different people have different hair because we've all adjusted to the climates our ancestors were in over the course of many generations and those genes are passed on to us. Nuff people see Ben Wallace and say him have "bad hair" and him look "wild" but that's foolish IMO, him jus ah do him ting and him proud ah him hair (Fear the fro). As long as you maintain it properly with a little grease and keep it looking "healthy" it's fine by me
And dats why mi decide fi dread up. Done wid di scissors and c**** from mi turn 18. Man and woman fi tek pride in dem heritage and nuh watch nobody else's...
Thank you all for your responses. Genetics aside let us celebrate our diffences and admire the variety of God's handiwork. But Massicker bring up another point......why are black women obcessed about their hair?
I NEVER fail, i'm just SUCCESSFUL in finding out what doesn't work Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
