TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Friends and family of a former Florida State University student found dead last week after helping with a narcotics investigation are gathering to remember her. Loved ones of 23-year-old Rachel Hoffman are meeting Wednesday in Tallahassee to mourn her death, meanwhile a group is planning a march at the Old State Capitol to raise awareness of Hoffman's case. Hoffman's body was found Friday in rural Taylor County, two days after she went missing. Hoffman, who was facing several felony charges, had agreed to cooperate with narcotics officers and was posing as a buyer.
