Jamaican dancehall artiste, David Mavado Brooks seem to have taken on one characteristic of water, moving around obstacles in his way. One876Entertainment.com understands that Mavado has been recruited for an appearance on US-based, G Unit's second album, "Lock and Load," which is slated for release later this year.

G Unit is led by the indomitable 50 Cent and made up of Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. They shifted two millions copies of their 2003 debut album "Beg For Mercy." The step out adds to a growing list of Hip Hop luminaries, such as Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Foxy Brown, Wyclef Jean and Uncle Murda who have been eager to collaborate with the Dancehall superstar.

"Its another great endorsement for Mavado," manager Julian Jones-Griffith told One876Entertainment.com. "The other day Jay Z was telling Mavado he has taken dancehall to a whole other level, bringing Jamaican music to the ears of people who don't usually listen to the genre. Unfortunately Mavado had to miss the Madison Square Garden gig with Jay Z through his current situation, but as soon as Mavado is ready to travel Jay wants him to fly up and meet him.
