Eight hours after a 23-year-old man died of a stab wound, a woman turned herself in and was charged with murder, according to Brunswick police. Just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning, officers called to a disturbance in the area of Brooklyn Homes north found Daquan Pullin of Brunswick with a stab wound to the chest. He was transported to the Southeast Georgia Health System, where he was later pronounced dead. At 10:05 a.m., as detectives were investigating the stabbing death, April Lynn Carroll, 55, turned herself in at the Brunswick Police Department. She was interviewed by detectives and charged with murder in connection to the case.
Police said Carroll is a resident of Brooklyn Homes. Investigators have not released details of what led to the disturbance and stabbing.
