Guyana bans Mavado and Bounty Killer

Mavado3.jpg One876Entertainment.com understands that the Guyanese government has black listed Alliance leader, Rodney Bounty Killer Price and his protégé David Mavado Brooks. The Jamaicans artistes are banned from the island as the government regards them as security risk to the country.

Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee told reporters today at a press conference held in Georgetown that the decision was made by the Bharrat Jagdeo administration after careful consideration of their track records.

The decision comes at the heel of a controversial end to a show headlined by Bounty Killer a couple weekends ago. The show ended after several break in performances due to faulty equipment and alleged gunfire.

This ban halts Mavados plans to perform in the country this weekend at the Linden Town Week celebrations alongside Lady Saw.

Okay so let me get this straight they ban bounty and mavado but let brazilian drug lords buy land set up strip clubs and transfer coke from the harbors and then on top of that won't give the cain works breaks on electricity and other things but have the nerve to spend time on banning people from performing in the country how do they expect GT artist fe get there shine on if they don't allow two of the jamicas biggest stars to come and see the talent thats in the country Guyana cause when the artist come they normaly check the local talents if they have time I swear I luv me country but they have to stop allienating themselves. Jesus we love soca and calypso but damn weAUTO like dancehall too!!!!!!!!!!
