ORANGE PARK, FL -- Orange Park Police are looking for the public's help in finding two men who robbed a man at a local hotel, then used the victim's cards at a credit union on Jacksonville's northside.
The victim was approached by a suspect from the rear who put a black handgun to his head and demanded his wallet. He responded "what" and was hit in the back of the head with the handgun several times and told to get on the floor.
The 38-year-old victim told the suspect his wallet was in his backpack and he handed it over to him. The suspect ran to a black 90's model SUV and then fled through the parking lot.
A witness later saw a black male sitting inside a dark model SUV. He heard a second suspect yell at the man in the SUV, who backed out of a parking space, turned off his lights, picked up the suspect and speed away.
Police have released photos from a Vystar on Dunn Avenue in Jacksonville. It shows the potential suspect(s) using the victim's cards.
