April 21, 2008. About a month ago, MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that Solange Knowles was putting together a new band called The Hadley Street Band. Over the last month Solange and her people auditioned hundreds of artists - and a couple of days ago they finally came up with the group.

Well apparently no one consulted Mathew as to the composition of the group - all of whom were African American. Because on the very first day of practice, Mathew reportedly fired everyone. One insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Mathew] was looking for a more 'rock sound and look' and the band wasn't [what] he expected."

"Rock look" huh? Mathew, you really are something else....
