April 17, 2008. MediaZoneJa.com has learned that Solange Knowles and Ashlee Simpson were almost a girl goup once. Here's how Us Weekly is reporting it:

Roughly 7 years ago, a record label approached [Solange] to form a girl group with Ashlee Simpson. At the time, the teens were backup dancers to their older sisters ... [Solange said,"She was this rocker chick. I'm this reggae Rasta chick. What the hell were we gonna sing about? It was mad cheesy."

Ummmmmm .... when was Solange ever a Rasta chick?????? There go them Knowles and their lying..
