876radio.com has learnt that in a recent article published by the Xnews, a survey was conducted by the renowned pollster Don Anderson which revealed that the self proclaimed King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man was four (4) time more popular than the Warlord Bounty Killer.

The poll which was commissioned exclusively for the CVM Group by Mr. Anderson and his team of marketing experts was conducted between March 10th and 17th, and saw them interviewing approximately 1,001 persons ranging from age 18 and over.

According to the results twenty eight percent (28%) named Beenie Man as being their favourite entertainer, while the Warlord nabbed seven percent (7%) and his prote'ge Mavado had to settle for a mere five percent (5%) of the votes.

The Doctor asked if he honestly felt he was four times more popular than the Warlord paused before saying,

"Anno feel I am.... there is proof. I continue to be favourite because there is no drop in form or change in the shape of what I do. The fans appreciate the music, and you as a person because I give my all, and regardless of who ah run the place, Mavado, Govado, Javado... I am still the most popular artiste every time.. still the king of the dancehall".

Beenie has promised to continue making hits and remain relevant in the competitive dancehall scene. Some of the other contenders were Busy Signal (1%), Lady Saw (2%), Sizzla Kalonji (2%), Ninja Man (2%), Vybz Kartel (3%), Buju Banton (3%), Super Cat (1%), while "NONE OF THE ABOVE" accounted for (34%) of the votes.
