Here is something we would have never thought, would happen to any Jamaican.
A Jamaican man who was planning to board a flight at Orlando International Airport was detained and questioned by federal agents after they found him with components for pipe b****s and other explosive materials in his luggage on Tuesday April 1, 2008.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was scheduled to fly on Air Jamaica Flight 80 to Montego Bay at 2:55 p.m. when Transportation Security Administration officers spotted him acting suspiciously around noon, TSA and law enforcement officials said the man was "acting strange" and questioned his mental stability.
He seemed of unsound mind as he was grinning while the officer search his bag on the curb, he was wearing blue jeans and a white long sleeved shirt, was searched by a b**** technician on a curb outside the airport. His camouflage-styled backpack also was seized. An Orlando Police Department b**** squad searched his luggage, turning up "suspicious items," .
Law enforcement officials said among the materials found were unassembled materials which could be used to make a pipe b**** including pipes with end caps, metal ball bearings and potentially explosive or flammable liquids. Other materials involved instructions on wiring, making explosives and hand grenades.
Though the airport was shut down for over 3hours no information was given out as to whether the suspect was travelling alone.
