Deva_Brat.jpgWe understands that Deva Brat was not granted bail when he appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court today after his lawyer failed to appear in court.

"The lawyer was supposed to appear on Deva's behalf, but he never came, we don't know what happened. We are trying to get in contact with him right now to find out what happened, but we are not pleased," one representative of Deva's camp said.

He will next appear in court on May 1.
