Since last year there has been an ongoing lyrical battle between the Gangsta Ras, Munga and Portmore Empire's first lieutenant Deva Brat. The feud got so intense it even escalated into and all out fist fight at Stone Love's 35th Anniversary. The melee almost turn fatal when a knife was pulled by Munga who was quickly restrained before both men were removed from the stage.

Now with the dawning of the new year and the Easter season upon us it seems there is no sign of a truce in sight as just recently both entertainers took a swipe at each other on the Night Creature Riddim with Munga accusing Deva of living in a 'lue' (a popular Dancehall slang used to denote someone living a fictitious lifestyle) and Deva accusing Munga of being a coward, hence is constant charades to avoid a lyrical battle.

However, though the accusations by both men may not necessarily be true, the new year as also brought some misfortunes for Deva, who is presently incarcerated in the island 's lock up pending a third hearing regarding his alleged involvement in the carnal abuse of a 14 year old girl in Portmore, St. Catherine.

Even though the Portmore Empire lyricist is serving time in lock up this has not stopped Munga from taking a swipe at him in a new track called "Hear Dem a Bawl" the song which is recorded on Stephen's Day Break riddim blatantly disses Deva Brat classifying him as a pedophile and saying he deserves to remain in lock up for his alleged crime". Here are a few line from the track.

"Check mi style, guh down ah station guh check mi file,
yuh neva hear seh Munga name a call pon pedophile
nuh smile, any bwoy molest di likke child,
send him down a big yard guh spend a likkle while"

Now the question begs with Deva one strike down, if his luck turns and he's released after his trial can we expect another onslaught or lyrical exchanges or will he just ignore Munga's claim and try to focus on the bigger picture, getting his career back on track.
