10 Carlisle Avenue is the esteemed location of Reggae great Buju Banton's Gargamel Music Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. For the past two years, the popular recording compound has been undergoing major cosmetic and technological changes.

"We're upgrading all of the equipment and the control room is being fully modified," explains Gargamel house engineer and remixer Jermaine Reid. "With these new technologies, our recordings will be executed more efficiently, and the actual sound of the recordings will be much better."

First project up will be the completion of Banton's highly anticipated roots album Rasta Got Soul, which was delayed due to the renovations. The new and improved Gargamel Music Studio will also be available for booking by the public.
