Mavado's On The Rock added to HOT 97 rotation

Mavado3.jpgJamaican dancehall bad boy, David Mavado Brooks has even more to smile about these last few days. After recently finding about rapper Jay Z remixing one of his latest singles On The Rock, One876Entertainment.com understands that the remixed track has been officially added to rotation to New York's number one radio station HOT 97 as of today.

Roc a Fella has expressed an interest in licensing the track and doing the video, the artistes manager, Julian Jones-Griffith told One876Entertainment.com.

The original single was recorded for producer Baby G in Jamaica and is said to have been heard by Jay Z who liked it and recorded the remix.

The track was mentioned on yesterdays airing of popular BET show 106 and Park by Terrence J, one half of the hosting duo
