A woman called my house and told me that she had been dating my husband of 22 years, for about two years. I am a homemaker and we have four children. I have been his ball of string for the last four or five years, while he was trying to 'find himself'. Well now, pastor, enough is enough. He tells me he was waiting for an opportunity to end his friendship with her, but I can't help but wonder whenever he walks out the door. I was almost content to live as a roommate because we were so estranged, but now he acts like he needs me to help him break off the relationship with her. She keeps crying and he keeps trying to have a heart about the matter. I'm at my wits end! And tired of going around in circles.

Dear K.W.,
I suggest that you continue to try to help your husband if you believe that he genuinely wants to end the relationship with the other woman. Both of you should go and see a family counsellor.
