Unconfirm reports surface that deejay Nuclear, a member of the Vybz Katel's Portmore Empire was shot in his leg after the Peaceful Fridays Dance held last Friday in Portmore. Rumours also surface on Saturday that ace deejay Vybz Kartel had been shot at by gunmen. However, sources close to the deejay say that he was unharmed during the shooting incident and that those rumours that he had been personally targetted were not true. However, there was a fatal shooting incident in Portmore that same morning which left one person dead and another nursing gunshot wounds.This shooting may have triggered those rumours.

After the Peaceful Fridays dance, Orville Lee Hyman, a production supervisor at New Birth Television Company and of a Waterford address, was shot at about 5:30 a.m., Mr. Hyman and another man were at a premises in Waterford loading production items unto a truck when two armed men pounced on them and opened fire.
