KARTEL GETS DIVORCED Vybz Kartel's lawyers told MZJAEntertainment.com that the deejay's divorce is almost official.
"The divorce is in the decree ni si stage, and is now moving into the final stages. the court has ruled that he has grounds for divorce and so has granted him the divorce, and now he has submitted the final papers so he will be a single man again within the next two months when he gets the absolute," the lawyer said.
A "decree nisi" usually refers to a conditional divorce, becoming absolute upon the expiration of a stipulated period unless cause to the contrary is shown within the time period. The Daily Observer reported today that court documents filed on behalf of Adidjah 'The Teacha' Palmer gave one of the reasons for the divorce as the fact that his wife, Stacey Elliot-Palmer had been impregnated by another man.

"We are going to shoot a video for Queen Ifrica's song soon, it is getting great buzz in the marketplace, the disc jocks like Ron, Elize, ZJ Ice love it. Sunshine played it three times the other day so we know that it connect," Gregory McFarlane, publicist for Malijah, said.
