A POLICE force has sent Valentine's cards to 160 bail dodgers in a bid to encourage them to hand themselves in.
West Mercia Constabulary sent the red cards to those wanted on warrant for not appearing in court or not paying fines.
The card features the rhyme roses are red, violets are blue, we cant wait to get our hands on you.
Officers will also be visiting their homes and escorting those offenders found straight to court.
Chief Inspector Garry Higgins, from the West Mercia Local Criminal Justice Board, said: The message to offenders is if you have failed to turn up at court, time is running out.
"Give yourself up before you get a visit from the police.
