The first lady of the Diamond District, miss money-o aka Macka Diamond had her birthday celebrations cut short in the wee hours of Saturday morning by the security forces.

The event at which 876radio.com was in attendance got off to a good start with an ample crowd, most of whom participated in the Bingo games hosted by the infamous Ram p*u**y. At about 1:30am the games came to a climax and the coveted purse of U$2,000 was nabbed by a young man. (Of course Macka did try to con him out of it, seeing that she is the money goddess).

During the proceedings there was also a little misunderstanding between members of the group Voicemail and the security personnel at the V.I.P gate who refused to let in one of its members (Craig). After the bingo the proceedings was then handed over to DJ Sunshine who had a problematic set, due to issues with the sound system.

At about 2:30am, Captain Barkey the host for the nights proceedings took the stage and kicked off the performance segment, he was first up followed by DAngel who delivered a good set before allowing other acts such as Shane-O, Bling Dawg, Lil Joe, the Fireman Capleton, Lutan Fyah, Little Hero, Wasp and the great Coco Tea who arguable delivered one of the best set of the night, to come through and do their thing.

However, at approximately 3:45am the police came and asked that the show be brought to a close, even thought some of the major acts had not performed (Bounty, Mavado, both of whom were advertised but not seen by our team) at this point Macka took the stage with Queen Paula and her dancers Dahlia and Latisha and delivered a short but sweet set before the lawmen ordered that the proceedings end immediately.

Before Macka left she said "Big up the Officers, but dats why mi love country cause no police nah go come lock off di party" and thanked everyone for their support before declaring she had a flight to catch to Trinidad as she had a date with Carnival.
