Britney Spears is a danger to Kevin Federline!

The cops have issued against the mother of two, who took her children hostage last week.

Called an emergency protective order, it is enforced for five business days.

Officers did it to stabilize the situation, confirmed K-Feds lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

It remains unclear whether Federline will seek to extend the restraining order, but for the safety and well-being of those children, he should.

Says Kaplan, Kevin doesnt want to keep his kids from being involved in [Spearss] life. But foremost is that the kids be in an environment of structure [and] stability. The next goal is to get things to a point where both parents are able to participate fully in their [childrens] lives.

For the time being, Spears cant get within 100 feet of Federline. If she does, then she faces arrest.
