Mavado has hit the ground running as the New Year jumps off. Having already recorded several tracks, Mavado is sure to continue the Dancehall dominance he has exhibited over the last two years.

With hot tracks recorded for Shane Brown Money Changer and Mi Henessey for SSMG, the single Jehovah Guide Me recorded for Baby G is the stand-out track. Premiered on Jamaican radio on Wednesday, the track was rinsed almost non-stop through-out the day and night.

Jehovah Guide Me is an adaptation of the Gospel track of the same name, with Mavados unique vocals and lyrical content. With choir harmonies and references to the police and army invasion of his party and an appeal for the cessation of violence in the country, Mavado has carved out another anthem.

Plans are already underway to shoot a video clip for the song and the long-awaited Little X-directed video for Last Night is also nearing completion. The clip will receive its Jamaican premier in two weeks time.
