1. Boom - Circus Maximus

Boom should be called the bomb! Worth every penny, Boom came with the added incentive of being a great spot to network for business professionals in Jamaica. Oh, but did we mention dance? Yep, folks danced to their hearts' content till the wee hours of the morning.

2. Frenchmen

What a fete! Let's face it, Frenchmen doesn't disappoint. Both the New Year 2007 edition at Caymanas Golf Club and Heroes Weekend in Ohco Rios were hits on the party scale.

3. Utopia

Catering to your every whim and fancy, Utopia hasn't lost its flair. The annual Boxing Day party held at the Blue Mountain Inn continued its reign as one of the best parties of the year. With great music, sumptuous food, Jamaica's SS and a picturesque atmosphere, how could it not make the list?

4. Maiden Cay

Kingston's social set took to Maiden Cay on December 28 and had a whale of a time. Although organisers wish to remain nameless, they deserve praise for the beautiful day.

5. Bacchanal Fridays at Mas Camp

For soca lovers this was the go-to spot every Friday night during the carnival season. And we suspect it will be the same this year!

6. Daydreams - All White Summer Edition

It can in no way compare to the Daydreams of past, but this year's summer edition still rocked in white.

7. Red Planet Series

They were held in various locations; kicking off cricket and ringing in the New Year. But never were they drab; instead, each was filled with life and patrons painting the town red.

8. Marlin Madness

To kick off the annual Marlin fishing tournament on the shores of Portland was Marlin Madness and trust us when we tell you it was madness.

9. Spiritz

Nice vibe and music, but what set this party apart from others was the beautiful people. The new venue at American International School works a lot better that the hilled one.

10. Osmosis - Sky Box

The chemistry worked. Even with a few glitches, Osmosis made the cut.
