Manchester woman killed by motor vehicle

 Manchester woman was killed after she was hit by a motor vehicle on the Melrose bypass in the parish on Monday evening.

Dead is Evadney Windette of New Hall district in the parish.

Reports are that about 7:10 p.m., Windette was walking along the Melrose bypass when she was hit by a Toyota Ipsum motor car registered 9565 EM. The injured woman was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Mandeville police are investigating
