Ninja Man called out Beenie Man and Bounty Killer in vain. Fantan Mojah demanded that Risto Benjie be sent for a clash, but he was not around; neither was D'Angel to respond to Spice's mocking "a nuff man she got".
Aidonia took aim at Munga, who passed up on Guinness Sting 2007 and although earlier Bounty Killer had much earlier changed a line in Cyaa Believe Me Eye to "cyaa believe sey Kartel bleach out him face", when he closed Guinness Sting 2007 as head of the Portmore Empire Kartel did not respond.
In fact, he said, "Me nah lie, a Killer bus me. Memba yu have a faada, yu get big, yu have yu own family," deejaying, "dem waan fi war me so me sen fe me army" to delight the massive audience at Jam World yesterday morning.
Fuming
There was some fuming, but the feuding that has been a big part of Sting in large part fizzled at the huge Boxing Day event. In his performance, starting after 1 a.m., Ninja Man said "sen out de whole a dem" and spent some time deejaying about Bounty Killer.
He said Bounty Killer had done a television interview in which he said good things about Ninja Man, but the favourable comments were not needed now.
But when he came up, Bounty Killer did not spend long on Ninja Man, addressing the matter early. "Ninja Man a call me name, call yu son a Half-Way Tree, a do hair an' fingernail," he said adding that homosexuality runs in the *lo** so some must be in Ninja Man.
Ninja Man had also corrected Mavado on the lyric "squeeze har nipple like the trigger of a gun", but when it was his turn Mavado said "Ninja Man, you a me elder, but me deal wid girl dem different," proceeding to deliver the song.
Mavado also said, "me sey big up Kartel, 'cause gangster a gangster. So we sey done wid de war. Big up Adijah Palmer. And this is David Brooks. Me sey big up Addi. Me sey big up Bounty, a me Daddy."
The two, who have been at odds since Kartel left the Bounty Killer-led Alliance, also made peace again after a a very public brawl involving their respective entourages at last week's Bembe Thursday.
As he closed, Kartel said, "Big up Mavado, 'cause me an him dey a Dela a par wha day. All Beenie fans, all Bounty fans wave so. Kartel a de new generation."
And although he landed a lyrical bullet to Munga Honourable, Aidonia sent a big-up to all, including Munga, saying "people fi know these are my words" and deejaying "from dem dis, me no waan know how".
