Island Xplosion has become the lastest victim in the ongoing raids being carried out by the security forces in a new plan being implemented to stem the wave of crime currently affecting the country.
The Christmas Eve show held in Maypen, Clarendon had some top billing artistes slated to perform but patrons were again left hanging when the invasion occured.
According to reports deejay Assailant allegedly found himself on the wrong side of the law and was later escorted away by the lawmen. A camera man from the Gleaner Company was also roughed up when he tried to capture a picture of a man being taken away by a member of the security forces, he said his fingers and his arm were twisted, his camera was confiscated and destroyed (broken into two pieces) before being returned to him with a stern warning.
During the search operation several knives and other dangerous projectiles were found and confiscated and some of the men were taken away in a truck by the lawmen for questioning.
