Seems as if Whitney Houston will have to wait a little longer before she can put her failed marriage behind her and move on with her life.

According to reports posted on the internet the divorce has been put on hold because her estranged husband Bobby Brown has fallen out with his lawyer.

Brown's attorney has quit after a series of rows with the fallen R&B star, according to U.S. reports, and now a scheduled January 4, (08) hearing looks like it will have to be delayed.

That date was arrived at after Brown suffered an alleged mild heart attack in October (07) and was unable to attend his wife's deposition.

In new court papers, obtained by U.S. TV show Extra, officials note, "The relationship (between Brown and his lawyers) has deteriorated to the extent that effective communication is no longer feasible."
