An alleged would-be robber has died in a most alarming and unusual way as he attempted to escape out of the Clarendon Parish Library Saturday morning.
RJR News understands that about 1 o' clock watchmen who were on duty reportedly heard strange sounds coming from one of the bathrooms and went to investigate.
When they went to the room they were confronted by a man sporting dreadlocks.
It is reported that one of the watchmen left the room to alert the nearby May Pen police.
It is alleged that the robber then bolted towards a window in a bid to escape.
He however got stuck in the window as the space was reportedly too small.
The watchmen then tried to assist the would-be robber but in struggling to free himself his head got stuck in the window.
When the watchmen tried to free him, they realized that he was already dead.
The May Pen CIB is awaiting the results of a post mortem of determine the cause of death.
However, they are theorising that he may have broken his neck.
