The Constant Spring Police in Jamaica have confirmed that their investigators have received a statement from the management team of Faith 'Barbee' Jackson-Eselebor regarding a telephone death threat issued on the life of the young singer two weeks ago.
I have received a statement, the report has been written and will be submitted to Inspector Jones," Corporal B. Robinson of the Constant Spring police in St. Andrew, told a One876Entertainment.com reporter today.
The report will also be submitted to the Special Branch for investigations to be initiated.
In the meantime, Barbee's security detail has been beefed up to handle the threat.
"Based on the incident that took place in Tawes Pen where a member of a gang was approached to throw Barbee out of a dance there, we are not taking any chances," publicist Ray Alexander of Khool Booking said.
In the meantime, Barbee is still in New York, auditioning dancers for her upcoming Paddy Cake video with Beenie Man.
"She has auditioned over 300 dancers for the video shoot so far, trying to get the right mix of talent for the production," Mr. Alexander said.
