Seven months later, still no autopsy report

The autopsy report to determine the death of Zion Gaynor, the six-year-old son of Twin of Twin's Patrick 'Curly Locks' Gaynor, is still not ready, seven months after his death.

Zion died on February 10, while reportedly in the care of his biological mother and her common-law husband.

Last week, Deputy Superintendent of Police in charge of Crime for the St. Catherine North, Derrick Champagnie, had said the report was ready but not collected.

"We got word that the forensic and the toxicology reports are ready but it is not yet in our hands" said DSP Champagnie, last week.

The investigating officer later said the autopsy report would be made available yesterday. But when contacted, he said the report had not been collected. This is seven months after Zion mysteriously died.

Meanwhile, Patrick Gaynor said he was still unnerved by the incident, but is pressing for closure in the matter.

"Looking on both sides of di ting, it is unfortunate the police don't have the resources they need because I am told there is only one (toxicology) lab available, but... mi just want justice fi mi yout,"an emotional Gaynor told The STAR.

"People get detained fi nothing, an is a dead, decomposed child ina dem condition deh ... if Jamaica saw the condition of my child,

Jah know, they wouldn't eat again,"Curly Locks said.
