Hip Hop legend, LL Cool J and R&B's reigning queen Mary J. Blige, are coming to the 15th annual Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest but according to a release from the organizers of the event, it is the slot that has Beenie Man and Bounty Killa on one night - on one stage - that has dancehall fans buzzing.
The release states that the two have been at loggerheads in recent years so that fact that they will both perform on the same stage, on one night has many predicting an "XPLOSION" indeed. The buzz is fast building over the performance of the two with many fans more piqued by the Jamaican dancehall acts than the international talent pool.
Beenie and Bounty are set to perform at dancehall night's 'Xplosion,' on Thursday July 19 along with an all star cast of unbeatable reggae and dancehall talent. They include Cham, Elephant Man, Movado, Lady Saw, Vybz Kartel, Vegas, Anthony B, Chuck Fenda, Wayne Marshall, Macka Diamond, Ninja Man, Voice Mail, Busy Signal, Aidonia, Gyptian, Lutan Fyah, Kip Rich and Munga Honourable.
The two deejay rivals have clashed time and again, using lyrics as their weapon and a heated and tongue wagging performance is also expected next month.
