We have been hearing about it a while now but we just got confirmation. Jamaican Dancehall young-gun, Aidonia is now a part of Vybz Kartels army of artistes, Portmore Empire.
When a reporter spotted Aidonia at the birthday party of 'Shorty', Vybz Kartel's babymother, he took the opportunity to pull him aside to ask him if he has joined the Portmore Empire.
"Yea, man, ah Empire we say," he responded.
But what does this mean for Empire member Devra Brat who had beef with Aidonia forcing him to write at least two diss songs?
Sources close to Devra says that the artiste has no problem with Aidonia joining the ranks and fans can look out for a combination from the two.
Aidonias career catapulted when he was a member of the Gang Bang group under the tutelage of producer, Cordel Skatta Burrell but left and joined forces with Bounty Killer and his Alliance.
Earlier this year, Aidonia left the Alliance after simmering frictions between himself, Busy Signal and Bounty Killer boiled to the point of no-resolution. Aidonia has also expressed unequivocal support for Vybz Kartel who he regards as his mentor, even going so far as to coin the popular slang, 'Addi ah Mi Daddy', which came from a song of the same name and a number of collaborations.
