Patrons, fans and others who have seen deejay Spice in performance recently, have all been asking the same question: Is she pregnant?

Well the answer is yes!

In a telephone interview, Spice admitted to being pregnant, but was tight-lipped about it, as she said, "mi nuh ready fi talk bout it yet."

She would not name the father of her child or say whether he was involved in the music industry.

According to Spice, real name Grace Hamilton, "the only reason why some people know already a because dem si mi a show, cause mi nah tek no break, mi still a do show."

It is still work as usual for Spice, as she says, "mi jus a come from Baltimore, me and Lady Saw in concert and mi on mi way to New York and I will be back in Jamaica next week."

This will be the first childbearing experience for Spice and she says she is keeping close tabs with her doctor.

"Mi a go up (abroad) guh talk to mi doctor, but I guess I'm in my first trimester," Spice said.

In the meantime, Spice says her recent singles are still doing quite well.

"Di latest song mi have a Talk, it a gwaan good so far, people a feel dat an mi have a next tune pon Sunshine rhythm weh a gwaan good to," Spice said.

Spice is the most recent deejay to become an expectant mother. D'Angel recently gave birth to her son late last year.
