A 16-year-old girl who was abducted said she was used as a sex slave. She is stricken with fear that her abductor, an obsessed former boyfriend may return to commit the act again.

The girl, who attends a prominent high school, was the victim of an abduction on Christmas Eve in Old Harbour Bay where she lives. And although she was returned on February 6 by her abductor, she told THE STAR she is still suffering from trauma, as the man, a 37-year-old mason says that he is coming back for her.

She told THE STAR that, it was at 1 o'clock on the morning of Christmas Eve, last year, when the man with whom she had a relationship which ended two weeks earlier, placed a knife at her neck and took her to a house where she remained for one night.

"He then took me to Clarendon and I was in a house like a virtual prisoner where he sexually assaulted me, repeatedly. I begged him to let me go but he told me to keep quiet or else, he was going to kill my family," the young girl told The STAR.

She said she was later taken to a house in the Aviary Housing Scheme in St. Catherine where she was then held again as a prisoner for several weeks until February 6, when the police got wind of where she was.

Her abductor left her near the road in Aviary and ran away, and is now being sought by the police.

"He told me that police a guh tek set pon him and that even though him release me now, 'im a guh come back fi me, anytime him ready," remarked the fearful looking girl. Her fear has prevented her from returning to school following the incident.

The mother of the 16-year-old, says that the family is glad that the teen has returned home. She says her daughter has been taken to the hospital and tested.

"When I saw her the Saturday morning, tears run down my eyes and mi hear her eight-year-old sister seh, thank you Jesus mi prayer answer, mi sister come home," the mother told The STAR.

Although happily reunited, the family lives in fear as it is not known if and when the man will carry out his threat.

The mother says it is because she ended the relationship between her underage daughter and the 37-year-old man, that he became obsessed with the child. She said that she is hoping that the law will catch up with him before he carries out his threat.

Corporal Clarence Campbell, sub-officer in charge of the Old Harbour Bay police station says that the police has prepared warrants for the arrest of the man for carnal abuse and abduction.

"We are treating this case as very serious and have collected the required statements from the complainant as no stone will be left unturned to apprehend the suspect," Corporal Campbell said. Meanwhile, the family of the girl is hoping that the police apprehend the man before he again abducts their daughter or anyone else.
