Top dancehall group for 2006, Voice Mail, will this weekend participate in a number of pre and post parties associated with the Super Bowl sporting series in the Florida, USA.

In a release, group member Oneil Edwards was quoted saying 'We are happy to be going off to attend the Super Bowl series. We were specially invited by the organizers to come and party with the stars. It's an opportunity for us to maximize as best as we can'.

Voice Mail capped off a successful year in 2006. The group topped the charts for three weeks with their debut album Hey which was released by VP Records. The first single Get Crazy hit the top 10 on the charts. But it was the single Let's Dance produced by Donovan Bennett on the Higher Altitude rhythm, which soared to the top of the charts.

Additionally, Voice Mail snagged an endorsement deal with mobile giant bmobile. "We signed up with bmobile and it has been a great experience for us. We also signed an endorsement with Bashco', Edwards pointed out.

Voice Mail's sophomore album Hello is to be released later this year. The album will feature production work from luminaries including Tony 'CD' Kelly, Danny Champagnie, Rohan 'Sno Cone' Fuller, Donovan 'Don Corleon' Bennett, Big yard, Nigel Staff and Christopher Birch among others.

Said Edwards, 'Our debut album Hey did well for us in Japan where it went gold. It allowed us to tour many places around the world'.

Last year, Voice Mail performed in the US, Canada, England, Japan, Guyana, Cayman, Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago.

Later this month, the members of the group will head to Japan to commence a photo shoot for their forthcoming album.
