Dancehall deejay Blak Ryno recently established his own record label, Garrison Records, and named himself its chief executive officer (CEO). According to Ryno, creating his own label is another way in which he intends to contribute positively to the development of Jamaicas music industry. Ryno himself, along with his protege Kaliba, are the first two acts on the label.

Drake-Lil-Wayne-300x300-2010-04-07.jpg

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has addressed speculation and fan concerns suggesting Drake's absence from the Young Money "I Am Still Music II" tour is a sign of internal conflict.

While he understands fans' concern, Weezy said too much is being made of Drake's missing billing name.
Wayne once again explained Drake's absence and understood from the fan's standpoint how his protégé's omission from the tour looked from the outside, sympathizing with the speculative remarks of Young Money supporters. "That's just due to this world we live in today," said the Young Money captain. "[B]ecause I remember back in the days when if someone wasn't on tour then the first thing we'd think was they were doing a movie or they were doing something else that was productive." Wayne went on to add, "Nowadays if you don't see somebody in the picture, then it's 'Oh, he's leaving' and he's this and "Oh Wayne, you're mad at this person' and I don't even deal with it man. I just get my money and call the shots." (RapFix)

Last February, Drake explained why it was unlikely to see him added to the tour bill.
Regardless of his plans for a romantic holiday, Drake said that he's focused on his love for the music and probably won't be added to Lil Wayne's all-star I Am Music II Tour. "I've been touring since last March so I'm just going to take time and make my album," he explained. However, the MC said that fans can expect him to make some surprise appearances on the 24-city trek. "But there's always those nights where you get that itch to go and join those legends like Nicki and Wayne and Ross onstage, so you'll see me out there, but I'm just trying to take care of the people," he confessed. (MTV)

Drake's absence made headlines after the nationwide run became public in January.
Lil Wayne will launch his "I Am Music II" tour in March, his first outing since being released from a brief jail sentence last year. The tour makes a stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills on April 2 with special guests Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Travis Barker. One question, though: Where's Drake? It seems like since Wayne is bringing Nicki Minaj with him, it'd make sense to bring his other Young Money protege along for the ride. And it's not as if Drake is busy. (M Live)

Earlier this month, Drake surprised fans at one of Wayne's tour stops and dismantled separation gossip.
Drake caught up with the "I Am Music II" tour when it pulled into Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center on Sunday night. Lil Wayne introduced his Young Moneyprotégé with a heartfelt speech. The Canadian rapper addressed rumors that he had left Young Money. "You see today, when I landed in D.C. and I got off the plane, this ni**a looked me in my eyes and he asked me, 'Did you drop out of Young Money?' And I looked him right back in his eyes and I said, 'Boy, are you out your motherfu**in' mind?!' Man, I want this sh*t 'Forever,'" he told the crowd to roaring applause. (

" I should not even be dignifying those
allegations with a statement but since it is the politically correct
thing to do, so be it. This attempt by these malicious and vindictive
persons who seek to defame my character is as futile as trying to
dethrone the dancehall hero from the pinnacle of the genre ... try
something else that is more believable. Better luck next time haters. "

Detroit is getting sinister. Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" have announced plans to team up for a joint EP dubbed 'Bad Meets Evil,' slated for release on June 14. The project serves as a long-awaited follow-up to their 1999 collaboration of the same name, and is set to feature production from D12's Mr. Porter, Mobb Deep's Havoc, DJ Khalil, Bangladesh and more.

"Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio," said Eminem in a statement. "At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are."

"I'm excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we're working on the 'Monster' that will be the Slaughterhouse album," said Royce.

The duo's debut collaboration appeared on Eminem's 'The Slim Shady LP' in 1999, while they also recorded the underground favorite 'Scary Movies.' In the '00s, Royce feuded with Em and D12, releasing several dis tracks but subsequently squashing the beef after the death of D12 member Proof. Since then, Royce has signed to Shady Records as one-fourth of super group Slaughterhouse, who most recently released an eponymous EP in February 2011.

Earlier this month, the 'Nickel Nine Is' creator released the track 'Writer's Block' featuring Eminem. No word on whether the track will be included on the joint album. Em also appeared on Royce's 'Rock City,' released back in 2007.

Game-300x300-2009-12-09.jpg

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne helped take fans' minds off Game's recent detainment in Canada by surprising them with an unexpected guest appearance at his Los Angeles "I Am Still Music" show last night.

Surprising fans, Wayne brought out Game to perform their "My Life" collaboration.
Game surprised L.A. fans when he reappeared onstage during Lil Wayne's "I Am Still Music" tour in Los Angeles on Friday (April 22). Earlier this week, the Compton rapper was detained by Canadian officials after traveling to the country, and was still thought to be in custody. So when he set foot onstage at the Staples Center, the crowd went wild. The "Red Nation" leader and Weezy performed their 2008 collaboration "My Life." "Happy to be home !!! S/O to @liltunechi for lettin a n!gga rock out," he tweeted after being welcomed back by his hometown. (Rap-Up)

Earlier this week, Game revealed what went down in Canada.
"This just in: I'm being detained in Canada for 14 days until they process my inadmissability then I'll have a hearing heard by a judge," Game tweeted April 20th.
"At that point the judge will decide to either deport me or give me a sentence for violating Canada's immigrant entry laws."
"F%cked up situation !!! But at least they let me call home, &tweet before they lock a n!gga up !!! Gotta turn in my property, y'all be kool"
"Gotta give up my phone & property. This some straight bullsh*t ! Flew all the way from LA to be denied and detained ?!?! WTF" (Game's Twitter)

Later reports claim Game's criminal background forced his detainment.
A rep for Substance Entertainment Group -- the promotion company behind Game's tour in Canada -- tells TMZ, the tour promoter got a call from Canadian Customs while Game was on the plane on his way to Canada. We're told customs informed the promoter that Game would be denied entry "due to new information received that Game is affiliated with organized crime and is an active member of the *la*hds street gang." The rep claims Game was blindsided by the last-minute red flag -- telling us, concert organizers had secured all permits and approval weeks ago to get Game into the country. (TMZ)

The Canada promoters have since released a statement on the incident.
"We as the Canadian promoters for the "Red Nation" tour featuring hip-hop artist The Game, completed all necessary work permits and paperwork to allow him entry into Canada," explained The Substance Group in a new statement. "The past criminal history of The Game was never addressed in conversation with Canadian officials and at no point was that the issue for his denied entry," read the statement. "Customs insisted the reason was strictly his current gang affiliations."

TOKYO Former Sony president and chairman Norio Ohga, credited with expanding the company from electronics hardware to software and entertainment and developing the compact disc, died Saturday at age 81.

Ohga, who led the company from 1982 to 1995, died of multiple organ failure in Tokyo, Sony said.

Some decisions made during Ohga's presidency, such as the $3.4 billion purchase of Hollywood studios Columbia Pictures, were criticized as unwise and costly at the time. But Ohga's focus on music, films and video games as a way to enrich the electronics business helped create Sony's success in his era.

"We are always chasing after things that other companies won't touch," Ohga said in a 1998 interview with The Associated Press. "That is a big secret to our success."

The flamboyant music connoisseur steered his work through his love of music. A former opera singer, Ohga insisted the CD be designed at 12 centimeters (4.8 inches) in diameter or 75 minutes worth of music to store Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in its entirety.

Shattering the stereotype of the staid Japanese executive, the debonair Ohga was never shy, his hair neatly slicked back, his boisterous mannerisms exuding the fiery yet naive air of an artist. His persona added a touch of glamour to Sony's image at a time when Japan had global ambitions.

"It is no exaggeration to attribute Sony's evolution beyond audio and video products into music, movies and game, and subsequent transformation into a global entertainment leader to Ohga-san's foresight and vision," Sony Corp. Chairman Howard Stringer said Saturday using the Japanese honorific.

The company started amid the destruction and poverty after World War II and built itself on the popularity of transistor radios, the Walkman, the Trinitron TV, the CD shaping the history of modern electronics.

Sony has encountered difficulty in recent years, as it fell behind in flat-panel TVs to rivals like Samsung Electronics Co. of South Korea, as well as in digital music players to Apple Inc.

Sony remains unique in having a Hollywood studio, a music recording business, and the PlayStation video-game unit, despite some critics' complaints that it has never fully realized the benefits of owning both electronics and entertainment divisions.

Since about 2000, Ohga stopped being involved in Sony's day-to-day business.

He is survived by his wife, Midori. Sony said a private wake will be held later.

Rumors circulated earlier in the week that Weezys anticipated disc Tha Carter IV had been pushed back from its original May 17th date. Now Young Money President Mack Maine has confirmed to XXL that the album now has a confirmed release date and will hit stores on June 21st.

DRAMA!! RIHANNA KICKS NICKI MINAJ OFF THE TOUR . . . AFTER HUGE ARGUMENT!!!
1270733794nicki_rihanna.jpg
MediaTakeOut.com just learned an EXPLOSIVE piece of information. By now you may have heard that Young Money rapper NICKI MINAJ is no longer joining Rihanna's summer tour.

Well now we got all the JUICY DETAILS behind what REALLY happened. According to a VERY CREDIBLE snitch, Rihanna has been growing increasingly worried that her popularity is starting to fade. The insider explained, "No one [in Rihanna's camp] is panicking yet, but there is DEEP concern that Rihanna has peaked, and is on the downside of her music career."

Well when Rihanna learned that HOT AS FIRE new rapper Nicki Minaj was being included in her tour, she was FURIOUS!!! The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "Nicki [Minaj] was brought in to sell tickets, but Rihanna did NOT want her on." So the insider claimed that Rihanna, presumably fearing that she would be upstaged, used her influence to REDUCE Nicki's role in the tour. Nicki was reportedly going to be the opening act, and be limited in the number of songs she could perform.

Well Nicki's people weren't HAVING IT!!! A person close to Young Money told MediaTakeOut.com, "Nicki is not an opening act, and we would never put her out there like that"

But that's not it. According to our Young Money insider, Nicki ended up calling Rihanna DIRECTLY to ask whether she was behind all of the tour drama. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "I only heard one side of the conversation, but [there] were a lot of curse words thrown back and forth."

DUUUUH-RAMMMMMAH!!!

Word out is that the Gaza Empire head Vybz Kartel will be making another attempt to get compensated due to acts by the state. His Colouring Book show was recently scrapped at the 11th hour and thus resulting in the artiste loosing a few shilling. He is now proposing to get compensation through the courts...This is not the first time Kartel will be taking such action.. the DJ and sometime SingJ threatened to do so last year when he was locked up for an extended period as a person of interest and thus lost revenue.

nicki-minaj-lap-dance-2011-04-22-300x300.jpg

Young Money's Nicki Minaj may be leaving a lump amount of men sad in the near future with her announcement of ending a nationwide run of lap dances.

Minaj said the grinding fiasco would soon stop as she prepares for another upcoming tour.
"This will be my last round of lap dances," Minaj revealed in an interview. "When I go [out] with Britney [Spears], no more lap dances...The [alias] that comes out with the lap dances on stage, I think that's Lap Dance Nika. Let's call her Lap Dance Nika. Some of my fans, my Team Minaj Barbz, they've called me that sometimes on Twitter, so I thought it was cute, so we'll call her Lap Dance Nika." (Power 106)

Prior to giving lap dances to fans and NBA superstars like Steve Nash and Chris Paul, Minaj raised eyebrows after grinding on Lil Wayne.
Nicki Minaj usually treats one male fan to a lap dance during her concerts, but the crowd was in for a surprise when that man happened to be Lil Wayne. Young Money's First Lady (and her jaw-dropping booty) danced up on a grinning Weezy during the "I Am Music II" tour stop at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum on Sunday (March 27). He was so overcome by the experience that he eventually fell out of his chair. Now that's a moment for life. (Rap-Up)

She later came forward and revealed how nerve-racking the experience was.
"Well, I have to say, I been giving lap dances [during the tour], but I didn't know Wayne was gonna jump out and pop out the back," Nicki told MTV News. "I literally was up there trying to get a boy, then I turn around and I see this cute little dread in the chair with his legs dangling off. And I was like, 'What?' I was super nervous." (MTV)

Minaj and Britney Spears hit the road around mid-June.
Sources involved in the negotiation tell TMZ ... the deal was signed several days ago, and Britney is elated. Everyone involved in the concert is relieved Enrique Iglasias' ego couldn't handle opening for Britney and feel Nicki will be infinitely better. Minaj, who is on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of the month, currently has two singles on the Billboard Top 100 -- "Moment 4 Life" and "Did It On'em" Everyone connected with the concert series things Nicki will create even more heat for the tour, which kicks off on June 17 in Sacramento, CA. Rapper/producer Missy Elliott's run in the rap game may be reaching its end with reports of her forthcoming album may possibly be her last.

According to Da Brat, Missy may be done with releasing full-length albums.
"I was hoping for a 'Ladies Night' reunion. I spoke to Missy and she down for it. She want to do a song because she said this could possibly be her last album," Da Brat said. "I'm definitely coming back out ASAP." (Sister 2 Sister Magazine)

Earlier this year, Missy and hitmaker Timbaland put out a record called "Take Ur Clothes Off".
Timbaland debuts his new weekly series Timbaland Thursdays with none other than his frequent collaborator Missy Elliott. The best buddies are up to their zany tricks on the club-friendly "Take Ur Clothes Off," powered by Timbo's leftfield synthesizers and snapping instrumentation. Missy holds it down on the lyrical tip, dropping smirk-worthy rhymes to lighten up the track. "Been hot before Michael Jackson wore loafers/ Been rich before you even knew about Oprah," she quips. Reunited and it feels so good. (Rap-Up)

Last fall, Missy explained her preference to work behind the scenes with artists like R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan.
"People always be like, 'Where [you] been?' but you gotta remember, I got Jazmine Sullivan out there, I had Monica 'Everything [To Me']," Missy explained in an interview. "I'm always having artists that I'm doing records on so I'm just behind the scenes right now. I did the artist thing, now I'm just writing and producing...It's been a long time coming but she gon' be around for a long time. She's gon' make people have to step up they singing...Jazmine sing from the soul. She sing from a different place. She's not just a singer, she sings from a place where you feel like she been through those things before. And she got a husky voice and we haven't heard that really in R&B in a long time so she [has] a unique voice." (MTV)

She is reportedly working on a new record called "Blow Ya Whistle."
Lately, Missy E has been busy producing records for other artists, the latest one being Jazmine Sullivan's 'Holding U Down' but here's some good news for the fans. She will be finally returning to the scene with her brand new single called 'Blow Ya Whistle'. Apparently, her album is still titled Block Party. (

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has become the victim of another leak as the artwork for his forthcoming Tha Carter IV album is now available to view online.

Drawing close comparisons to 2008's Carter III, Wayne is displayed wearing a graduation gown on the album cover.
Despite the album being pushed to June 14th, the official album artwork for the Young Money CEO Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV LP has hit the interwebs and has the net talking. Following on from the tatted up baby picture used for Tha Carter III, this installment of Tha Carter series features a slightly older version of young Weezy with his trademark tattoos added. Go Weezy. (Soul Culture)

Last week, an alleged Carter IV tracklisting hit the Internet.
An unofficial tracklist for one of the most, if not the most, anticipated hip-hop albums of 2011 landed on the internet this week. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV is scheduled for a May 16 release date, and on Thursday, Complex.com released what is a rumored album tracklisting for the Cash Money/Young Money superstar's upcoming project. The tracklist reveals Jay-Z, Eminem, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Kanye West, Game and more as speculated contributors. (Hip Hop Wired)

Following the leak, the solo effort was pushed back to mid-June.
Sigh. Surprise, surprise. Lil Wayne has pushed back the release of Tha Carter IV from May 16 to an unspecified date in June. At least, that's what has been reported by Matt at Rap Dose, who spoke with a producer who's close to Weezy. No reason has been given as to why it's been delayed (AGAIN), but it apparently has nothing to do with the rumored track list that leaked earlier this week. Let's hope everything gets clarified soon and, you know, we can actual release date. Maybe after we hear another single? (Prefix Mag)

Prior to the pushback, Wayne revealed his anticipation to put out his album next month.
"Tha Carter IV is done," Wayne told MTV News. "All they need to do is tell Tez [manager Cortez Bryant] to stop sitting on it. Tez, stop sitting on Tha Carter IV and put the album out." Bryant, Weezy's longtime manager, was in attendance and provided the specific release date. "May 16, believe that," Wayne said. "It can come out tomorrow 'cause I'm so finished ... Tha Carter IV will be dropping May 16. If you're not doing anything, do me," he added. (

West Coast rapper Game has reportedly been arrested in Canada over complications relating to his passport credentials.

Tweeting the news, Game also told his fans he would be locked up for two weeks.
"I haven't been able to get in Canada since the Documentary dropped !!! Its been a minute mayne. See y'all in 4 hours.... Now boarding," he tweeted Wednesday (April 20).
"Been in Customs for 3 hours....... #patienceIsAvirtue"
"Customs officials just denied me entry into Canada. I'm sorry 2 ALL my fans but I was mislead by promoters & assured I would be able 2 enter"
"This just in: I'm being detained in Canada for 14 days until they process my inadmissability then I'll have a hearing heard by a judge."
"At that point the judge will decide to either deport me or give me a sentence for violating Canada's immigrant entry laws."

"Gotta give up my phone & property. This some straight bull%&%* ! Flew all the way from LA to be denied and detained ?!?! WTF" (Game's Twitter)

Last December, Dipset's Cam'ron and Vado were banned from entering Canada after a run-in with customs.
"my *igga @VADO_MH aka "sliiiiiiimmmmeeeee in customs wit me http://plixi.com/p/63337398," Cam tweeted Thursday (December 16).
"they just told @VADO_MH he has a felony, he cant come in da country and my dj either, im waitin to here to see what they tell me. SMH"
"they just told me NO!!! this some real bullsh*t!! we just was here a couple months ago! sayin i had machine gun in 03. f*ckin makin sh*t up" (

agentsasco.jpg

Agent Sasco apparently intends to take 2011 by storm if what we see brewing here continue to blossom in a full blown war with Vybz Kartel. Now we earlier pointed out that the two real bad man tunes, one by  Vybz Kartel and the other by Agent Sasco, brings a reflection on their pass confrontation . The latest from Sasco seem to again point at the Bleached DJ with the Devil tatoo. Due to the fact that Sasco has not called Vybz Kartel name in the song one has to put 2 and 2 together ..since it seems Sasco still have the jitters from the decade ago lyrical war between them ..here assassin speaks of those who buy out charts and exerts unfair practices in lyrical warfare again it seems he pointing to the one with the devil pon him han.
Now with this new tune from Assassin called Yuh Madda... the people are saying this is directed at Vybz Kartel ... and the tune Real Badman by Vybz Kartel was in fact directed at Agent Sasco (otherwise called Assassin)...It is a fact that Kartel often tell a rival fi "guh suck yuh madda".... sasco takes on the issue.. we now await the devils' response

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has reportedly become the victim of a credit card fraud case involving the illegal usage of his American Express account.

Arrests have already been made on two suspects from Connecticut.
Rapper 50 Cent has been targeted by credit card fraudsters who have allegedly attempted to make unauthorized purchases using his account. Two men were arrested in West Hartford, Connecticut over allegations they tried to buy two $1,000 flatscreen TVs from a local electronics store last year using the hip-hop star's American Express number. The pair were detained by cops after the store owner became suspicious and called the credit card company. (Contact Music)

Additional credit card fraud cases involving 50 have also been reported.
Our source says thieves have tried to use Amex numbers belonging to Jackson to make unauthorized purchases in at least five cities since 2007, including Farmington and Hartford in Connecticut, as well as in New York. The root of Fitty's problem may be someone who has access to his personal information, adds the source. (New York Daily News)

Last December, two men were arrested for breaking into 50's home.
According to the police report that was made, one of the burglars, Alexander Hernandez, was discovered, "hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine he had stolen from the residence." The second suspect, Santos Padilla, was found hiding in a different section of the house. Both Hernandez and Padilla were released on a $50,000 bond each. Hernandez was released to the cops, where he has outstanding warrants that he is wanted for. (MWZA News)

One of the men was later charged with attempted murder.
Hernandez was wanted by New Britain police in connection with a double shooting that injured two men at a Main Street, New Britain multi-family house in October. He was turned over to New Britain police to face a warrant for attempted murder and first-degree assault after he was charged by Farmington police with burglary and criminal trespass. (

The police cancelled the potential colourful event which would have seen the Gaza Empire king himself in concert called "Colouring Book" on Saturday April 16. According to the authorities they pulled the plug on the show because it was considered a potential hazard to members of the public and that the show would likely attract a large number of criminal elements... now thats evil ROFL... it was explained that the Portmore division does not have enough man power to deal with this thus the show was cancelled... the promoters have 7 days to appeal... which would have defeated the pupose anyway since the cancellation was at the 11th hour.

kartel_mavado1.jpg

Since the Gaza done was not able to perform at the Colouring Book show in Portmore... the Contender boxing series on TVJ is looking to bail out the fellow and have him slated to perform along the likes of Mavado and I-Octane on April 27. Reports are that the police once again intervening in the matter and are asking the promoters not to let Mavado and Kartel to perform while the boxers enter the stage.. as this may reignite the Gaza/Gully Feud

Dancehall hero Vybz Kartel has wrapped up his interview with Marvin Sparks of MTV UK. It was a two part interview that covers a wide range of topics about the Gaza leader.

In the second part of the interview Vybz Kartel was asked why he now adopted a more singjay style than what you had previously.Kartel said, you have to keep reinventing yourself. That is what I can say about why Vybz Kartel is still relevant and is not Bounty Killer nor Elephant Man.

Because that would be like saying Celine Dion borrowed a style from Mary J. Blige. Music is about melody, and as I said before about reinventing, when somebody is reinventing themselves Vybz Kartel came with an original style, Mavado came with an original style, Vybz Kartel has grown into the style that he has now. I didnt borrow anything from Mavado. Melody is something that is out there for anybody who is doing music, because music was put to melody.

Vybz Kartel also revealed that there will be an upcoming collaboration...

A camera followed Mavado and his entourage around New York as he was in studio, in the streets, shopping and performing in front of thousands of people,

"We had Tyson travel with us on that trip to capture the history as it unfolded," said manager Julian Jones-Griffith in a release sent to The weekend STAR. "It was a moment in time that needed to be captured and the footage we got was even more than we expected. It was a very memorable weekend and we have it all recorded. We are going to release a DVD/music package this summer made from that weekend and a couple other trips we shot as well. It's going to give Mavado's fans a chance to see him like never before and this Star Bwoy video will give them a teaser of that. It all came together perfectly when we decided to also use Tyson to shoot the Star Bwoy video."

Upon Mavado's return to New York in 2008, he recorded Caribbean Connection with Wyclef and Lil Kim, who both made cameo appearances in the Star Bwoy video. Wyclef also surprised a packed Roseland Ballroom by calling out Mavado during in his set at the HOT 97 On Da Reggae Tip show. The 2008 Labour Day weekend's climax was Mavado's official first performance in front of a 20,000-strong crowd at the IRIE Jamboree show in Roy Wilkins Park, Queens.

"You know we always do our ting different," says Mavado. "My fans are always asking me for more visuals but we have to make sure everything is right and stands out from everybody else. The way we put this video together with new and old footage makes it really unique; I know my fans are going to love it. They can expect a lot more from me this year too, no ease up."

Star Bwoy will debut on local TV this weekend and Mavado and his team plan to break more new ground be posting the clip on iTunes for sale. DJ Khaled's Welcome To My Hood remix video, that features Mavado alongside Ludacris, T Pain, Busta Rhymes and a host of other rappers, will debut on BET's 106 & Park in the coming weeks. Mavado's long-awaited single Delilah will be released in two weeks, followed shortly after by an accompanying video. Stulla Tonic Wine is expected to be launched to the marketplace in July

Young Money's Nicki Minaj lap dance spree is far from over as the Pink Friday star saluted the U.S. troops over the weekend by treating two soldiers to an intimate stage experience.

Minaj gave two lap dances during an "I Am Still Music II" tour stop in Texas heading into the weekend.
Raptress Nicki Minaj continues giving lap dances in every city of the "I Am Still Music II" tour. When stopping by Dallas, Texas for a show last Friday night, April 15, the "Moment 4 Life" singer showed her appreciation to two soldiers for their service to the country by treating them to the sexy dance. (AceShow Biz)

A few days prior, Minaj treated NBA superstar Chris Paul to an on-stage lap dance.
New Orleans Hornets baller Chris Paul's fiancee/baby moms Jada got a sneak peek at what his bachelor party would be like last night. Nicki Minaj pulled him on stage for her nightly lap dance. Watch Nicki make Chris blush inside.....The I Am Music Tour II rolled into New Orleans--Lil Wayne's hometown--for one of their largest tour stops. And, of course, NBA baller Chris Paul was at the New Orleans arena to support Young Money. (The YBF)

Earlier this month, the rapper turned heads after giving her boss Lil Wayne similar treatment.
(Rap-Up)

Days later, Minaj provided her post-dance reaction and admitted how anxious she really was.
And I was like, 'What?' I was super nervous." Fabolous On His Supergroup Dreams

April 18, 2011
Started By kid1000 Comments

Grammy-nominated rapper Fabolous is keeping hope alive for a potential supergroup album featuring himself alongside R&B hitmakers Ne-Yo and Ryan Leslie.

Ideally, Fab envisions the album showcasing his and Ne-Yo's verbal skills while Leslie's talents are conveyed behind the boards.

"We just really started it, we've also talked about doing a project with me and Ne-Yo, kind of a Best of Both Worlds project -- with Ryan Leslie on the production," Fab explained in an interview. "'You Be Killin' Em 2' is a little taste of that. Just to hear how it would start. That remix came from the original song which [it] complimented women. This one does the same but I wanted to change the vibe. Summer's coming, you know, weather's breaking. I wanted it to be that sexy summer song. A lot of guys are like, 'Oh man, where's the bars? It's not enough bars.' It's eight bar verses but the vibe is there. I think most people connected with that more than saying it's just going to be a big hip-hop record. I wanted the vibe to still be there and the girls to get it. The beat ain't no punk neither. You can bop your head to the beat whether you a dude or a girl." (Rap Radar)

Young Money's Nicki Minaj recently discussed her upcoming tour alongside pop star Britney Spears and revealed her decision to downsize the on-stage props by not using sex toys.

Minaj also hinted at the possibility of previewing new music while on tour.
"She's definitely iconic and I'm very excited," Minaj explained referring to Spears. "It's weird. I just always remember her, since I was little, ruling the world, so I'm really excited to just expand my fanbase and show people that I can be a part of any world...Of course I will adjust some things. I definitely will take away that one particular stage prop," she said of one very phallic object, adding that her music and set list will basically stay the same. "We'll add some stuff 'cause I got some new things coming out this summer, some new records." (MTV)

Recently Young Money's Shanell aka SNL shared her reaction to Minaj's on-stage dildo surprise.
"I really didn't know it was going to happen. I hadn't seen her show since the first night. She was rehearsing in a different location than us, so I didn't get to see her show before hand, but Nicki's going to do stuff that's going to shock you, so...The media.. I don't know. I don't know how I feel about media right now." (VIBE)

Photos of Minaj's sex toy performance hit the Internet in late March.
Nicki Minaj, who is no stranger to the outrageous, brought her I Am Still Music Tour to the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY last night and during her performance produced a plastic penis to incorporate into her act. Now, I'm not sure if this sexual ... prop ... is a usual part of the show or if she just whipped it out as a special surprise but ... homegirl seemed happy to perform with the dildo. (Pink Is The New Blog)

Confirmation of Minaj's participation on the upcoming tour became public earlier this week.
PrincessLeah Exposed?

April 17, 2011

n593016978_1235042_2920.jpg

everyone remember princessleah.... and the F***ery she caused on this site. well here is her story. lololol

Her old account on a different site she is banned from!

Not sure if it is availble if you dont have an account or not but the "picture" she teef is availble. She call herself using that picture and saying it is her.

The truth behind her meeting her husband is.......... One trip to Jamaica and the man beg her a green card. Of course the dumb ass would agree. & there go the wedding. lol

Her profile go a lil sumpin like this:

"About me. Hmm. Well obviously we all know that I love . SEX! But who's the real Mrs.Sam?

I'm a voracious reader, and have been athletic all of my life, I'm a social, self-confident and playful woman who is enthusiastic, boisterous, fun and has a good sense of humor. I usually say what's on my mind and do not believe in holding back. Although I'm generally a strong person I'm much more sensitive than I can appear, and respond aggressively when I feel my ego has been bruised. Being a Leo and all, I have a strong need to be in the center of attention, although I can be rather big-hearted when I'm in a good mood.

I'm dominant in most social settings and often draw much attention to myself without knowing it, good or bad which sometimes annoy others. I have quite a creative touch an am always wanting to play. I clearly enjoy life and will always look to bring something fun into it.

I think I've tried everything that has possibly crossed my mind and don't live to regret, as regrets are just hindsight that bites you in the ass every time. Learn from your mistakes but don't make them again.

I believe in the freedom of choice and free speech, and that it's up to each of us to make the most of the life we get. Life is too short to be uptight and anal about everything; life should be enjoyed and lived to the fullest every day because you never know when it's going to be your last.

I believe that your family comes before your friends but not before your spouse, and that you can't love anybody else until you first love yourself. I believe in ongoing learning by any means necessary, whether it be the school of hard knocks or classroom it's your choice, but ain't nobody learned how to live their life just in a classroom.

My biggest weakness is that I need to feel loved, or I can become irritated and quite frustrated.

My pet peeves include people who smoke in places that non-smokers can't avoid like in front of buildings or in front of me when I'm walking. Big on the list is also people who don't know how to drive, dammit people just take a bus!

I don't care if you've got 2 cents or 2 Million dollars to your name, you still deserve my attention equally. I also believe that colour is just a word and that "word" is whatever you make it out to be in my books we are all people and deserve everything equally. Leave the past in the past and live in the present in order to have a future. You are only limited by your own limitations you give yourself. Think outside the box because there is more out there than you think.

Oh, and yes, there is a "Mr.Sam" and I believe in monogamy and that there is only one player in the game at a time what else do you need to know? Hmmm.. just ask and I'll probably tell you! lol"

lil-wayne-2011-03-18-300x300.jpg

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne will keep fans waiting until the summer for his long-awaited Tha Carter IV album by reportedly delaying its release.

According to weekend reports, the solo LP is now projected to hit stores in June.

Earlier in the week, an alleged tracklisting from Wayne's LP hit the Internet.
An unofficial tracklist for one of the most, if not the most, anticipated hip-hop albums of 2011 landed on the internet this week. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV is schedule for a May 16 release date, and on Thursday, Complex.com released what is a rumored album tracklisting for the Cash Money/Young Money superstar's upcoming project. The tracklist reveals Jay-Z, Eminem, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Kanye West, Game and more as speculated contributors. (Hip Hop Wired)

Around mid-March, Wayne revealed a projected release date for his new album.
(MTV)

In addition to being featured on Carter IV, Young Money's Nicki Minaj recently described the album's superior production.
"Of course, if Wayne would have me, yes," Minaj told Tim Westwood when asked if she will appear on Tha Carter IV. "I think that's going to be very anticipated. I think it's already being anticipated. His beat selection alone is going to friggin' kill. I've already heard a couple of the beats, in fact, the other day, I went to tell this producer, 'Yo, hold that beat for me.' And he said, Wayne already took it. And it hurt my heart, I was like, 'Errr'. But yeah, he's snatching them up. He's ready. I cannot wait. I'm just, I'm proud of him. I'm super proud of him." Shyne-2010-04-12-300x300.jpg

Former Bad Boy Records artist Shyne is steady preparing his rap comeback by dropping a new track called "Trunk Full" alongside Southern rapper Gucci Mane.

Giving fans a "trill" sound, Shyne trades bars with the currently incarcerated Atlanta rapper.
Shyne chops and screws it up with Gucci Mane on their collaboration "Trunk Full." The riding anthem, driven by a fast-paced beat and ominous synths, sees the Belizean rapper dropping off tough rhymes with a 16 from Gucci sandwiched between verses. "This is the realest %&%* ever/ Gucci Mane, Shyne, you might get your head severed," threatens Shyne. Heed his warning. (Rap-Up)

Last fall, Shyne sat down with SOHH and discussed which artists he would like to rap alongside.
"I definitely want to collaborate with Baby, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane," Shyne revealed . "I'd also want to record with Usher, Rihanna, there's a few people that I'm jacking their style, definitely. Obviously Jay-Z is always somebody you'd like to do a record with

Earlier this month, he revealed his admiration toward Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne.
"Most of the people I interact with are honest people. They are who they are. Drake is a kid that says 'Listen, I'm not from the streets. I'm just making good music.' Kanye's a dude that doesn't try to be anything other than who he is. [Lil] Wayne is really off the block...All the kids I respect and admire are truthful people. I like the kid Lupe Fiasco. I think he's extraordinary. I'm really about truth, man. If you're being honest and you have integrity, I'm all for you." (Superstar Radio)

Last year, Shyne explained his decision to switch up his rhyming flow.
"[People] should be happy that I changed...I was monotonous and angry," he explained in an interview. "I can't give them that old sh*t. That anger you heard in the booth was really me. It was like listening to someone with Post Traumatic Stress [Disorder]...I'm comfortable with mine. I figured it out, but I'm not a communist. People want that sh*t, but I can't give it to them in the old way...I'm not no f*cking magician. You gotta make that sh*t...It's about having character and integrity. I don't care if I only sell one album." (

West Coast rapper Ice Cube has shed light on the hip-hop scene around his region and why Los Angeles radio stations are not showing enough love for the rap game.

Cube believes hip-hop is not getting as much burn as it should on Los Angeles air waves.
"I'm not really happy with radio out in L.A.," Cube said in an interview. "I think they turned their back on the hip-hop scene out there. Not stations like KDAY, they still play the hits. But some stations that got a little more wattage, they're not bumping the hip-hop like they're supposed to...I think if you really focus too much on radio, you'll be lost as an artist anyway...I think radio is very deceptive. It's kind of fool's gold 'cause you always chasing your last radio hit instead of just going and doing hip-hop like you supposed to, you worrying about spins, stuff like that. To me, radio has messed up a lot of artists." (MTV)

Cube also spoke on Los Angeles as a breeding ground for multi-faceted rappers.
"I think people just got caught in a trick bag. L.A. has always been full of all kind of different talent, different styles," Cube said. "It ain't just a whole city of gang-banging. The Black Eyed Peas [are] a great example of how creative that region is, so I'm happy that it ain't all just one flavor now. That a lot of different flavors are getting out there. Leave the gangsta sh-- to me and everybody else can do whatever they do." (MTV)

Last year, West Coast rapper Game aired out his local radio station for their excess spins of Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind" hit.

News in the streets are that Beenie Man and D'Angel are heading down the path of divorce. It was reported that D'Angel, whose real name is Michelle Downer, has allegedly filed for a divorce from her husband,  Beenie Man.

After their marriage in 2006, the couple separated less than a year into the marriage, but went back togather last year.

The couple enjoyed a fairy-tale wedding in August 2006, but have since had a publicly turbulent relationship with accusations of severe physical abuse being meted out to DAngel, a former lover of Beenie Mans arch rival, Bounty Killer.

This led to a fiery separation less than a year into the marriage, while the only child of the union, Marco-Dean was not yet a year old.

Last year Beenie Man and D'Angel, after a very public and amorous kissing marathon inside the press tent at Reggae Sumfest, announced that they were giving their marriage a second chance.

In an interview in August 2010 with Jamaicas hugely popular afternoon tabloid, The Star, DAngel said she had forgiven her husband for his abusive behavior. D'Angel  said:

"Where the marriage is concerned, we leave that in Gods hands. Marriages always have ups and downs."

Since then, the couple has been keeping up the public profile of togetherness, appearing on stage shows together, dropping off Marco-Dean together at his society preparatory school and just recently posing for the cameras at DAngels birthday party.

However, according to ChatyChaty.com -- an acquaintance of the couple told them:

Everytime something happen, Angel swear sey a it dat and she a go divorce Beenie. But by the time you look round, dem mek up back and a chat and laugh like dem really in love.

But the female friend added:

Something went down the other day and Beenie said he was going to file for a divorce, but Angel said that wasnt possible since she had already filed for the divorce.

When pressed by ChatyChaty.com if that something was the fact that DAngel had chosen to leave the island on the very day that Beenie Man was discharged from hospital after his surgery, she declined to comment.

Reports are that Beenie Man was quite angry that DAngel flew out of the island to go shopping for her store on the day he was sent home from hospital. He reportedly went around asking friends if they thought that a wife who loved her husband would have done something like that.

Meanwhile, neither Beenie Man nor DAngel could be reached for comment. Both artists did an collaboration recently, called 'Time Of My Life.

Jerry Lawson, Inventor of Modern Game Console, Dies at 70

"A lifelong engineer and tinkerer, Lawson was born in 1940 and grew up in a federal housing project in Queens, New York."

Gerald "Jerry" Lawson, creator of the first cartridge-based videogame console, died Saturday morning in a Mountain View, California, hospital, Wired.com has learned. Lawson was 70.

As an engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor, Lawson designed the electronics of the Fairchild Video Entertainment System, later renamed the Channel F, in 1976.  Predating the release of Atari's Video Computer System by a year, the Channel F was the first videogame machine that used interchangeable game cartridges, which Fairchild sold separately. Previous game machines like Atari's Pong and the Magnavox Odyssey had all their games built into the hardware. Lawson's pioneering design set the standard for the game consoles of today.

"Jerry was an amazing personality," said family friend David Erhart, who broke the news of Lawson's death Monday on the Digital Press website. "He created part of the videogame industry history in Silicon Valley and it was always a pleasure to hear his stories about back in the day."

Much of Lawson's background is discussed in a wide-ranging interview he gave Vintage Computing and Gaming in 2009.

A lifelong engineer and tinkerer, Lawson was born in 1940 and grew up in a federal housing project in Queens, New York. As a kid, he operated a ham radio; as a teenager he earned money by repairing his neighbors' television sets.  In the 1970s, living and working in Silicon Valley, he joined the Homebrew Computer Club, a group of early hackers that included Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

Lawson's contributions to videogames began with Demolition Derby, a coin-operated arcade machine that he created in his garage while working at Fairchild.  "Fairchild found out about it - in fact, it was a big controversy that I had done that. And then, very quietly, they asked me if I wanted to do it for them," Lawson said in the Vintage Computing interview.

Although similar machines were in development at Atari and RCA at the time, the console Lawson's team built for Fairchild was the first cartridge-based gaming system that came to market. Although it seems simple now, making the technology work wasn't easy.

"There was a mechanism that allowed you to put the cartridges in without destroying the semiconductors.... We were afraid - we didn't have statistics on multiple insertion and what it would do, and how we would do it, because it wasn't done. I mean, think about it: Nobody had the capability of plugging in memory devices in mass quantity like in a consumer product. Nobody."

Only 26 cartridges were ever released for Channel F, all simple games like Blackjack, Space War and Bowling. When Atari released its cartridge-based system, Channel F was quickly rendered obsolete. Years later, Lawson started his own company, Videosoft, to produce Atari 2600 cartridges, but only released one, a technician's tool called Color Bar Generator.

Last month, the International Game Developers Association honored Lawson's pioneering efforts at Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

"The whole reason I did games was because people said, You can't do it,'" he told the San Jose Mercury News last month. "I'm one of the guys, if you tell me I can't do something, I'll turn around and do it."

In later years, Lawson had suffered the severe effects of diabetes. He lost sight in one eye and lost one of his legs to the disease, leaving him confined to a wheelchair. On Wednesday, not feeling well, he was admitted into El Camino Hospital Mountain View.
"He continued building devices to control telescopes, lasers, tools, etc. up until the day he went to the hospital," said friend Erhart. "His workbench had more tools than most people would even know what to do with. He taught me quite a bit and I'll miss him sorely."

At 6:15 a.m. Saturday, Lawson died after apparently suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter. The family is planning a memorial service in mid-May.

Lil-Wayne-2010-04-08-300x300.jpg

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne's security have reportedly caught fire and been arrested for impersonating police officers following an Indiana concert.

Details of the incident landed across the Internet Thursday (April 14).
Using flashing lights and sirens to escort the tour bus of rapper Lil Wayne has landed two Indianapolis security guards in legal trouble. Ronald Harrod and Larry Richardson have been arrested and charged with impersonating police for the alleged act as they led a group of buses with the rapper and his entourage from Assembly Hall in *la*hmington to a nightclub. *la*hmington police allege the two were in an unmarked Ford Crown Victoria and wearing clothes that looked like police uniforms with gun belts. (WCSI News)

Prior to reaching their destination, Wayne's security were stopped by actual police.
Officers talked to Richardson, who was driving the Crown Victoria. He was wearing a police-style uniform with sergeant stripes and a sewn-on officer badge. He also had a side arm, and in his car were a dashboard computer, handcuffs and a police interceptor. Officers asked him for ID, and he admitted he wasn't a police officer. But, he said, he worked for a security company and had credentials to conduct an escort. Harrod was driving the Intrepid. He was wearing a police-style shirt and jacket and had a gun belt with a handgun and handcuffs. Harrod told police he worked for the security company and thought he could drive with his lights on. Police discovered his license was suspended. (IDS News)

The men in question claim they reportedly had clearance to escort Wayne out.
Lil Wayne was in *la*hmington to perform at Tuesday's Little 500 kick-off at Indiana University. Police say Richardson led a caravan of tour buses in a car that had flashing red and blue lights and sirens blaring. Harrod was behind the caravan in another car that also had red and blue flashing lights. *la*hmington Police Department Capt. Joe Qualters says the men said they had permission and credentials to drive with lights and sirens. (The Republic)

Outside of his security enforcement, Wayne recently dismissed rumors claiming he was dating his stylist.
"Everybody out there owe somebody a real big apology. This Marissa right here, this is my stylist," Wayne said in a video. "See, this is the reason I'm flyer than all you n*ggas, you understand? This is my stylist, she's been my stylist for years...There's a rumor out right now saying this is my girl 'cause I had my arm around her. My arm is around her right now, my arm is always around her, this is my dude. This is my homie right here. And all them little things you saying that [she's] a cougar and all that, we not with that over there." (

Bounty Killer (right) and his musical rival of more than 10 years, Beenie Man.

The year 1993 also saw the staging of the historic Sting musical confrontation between himself and nemesis Beenie Man.

In the build-up to the show, Bounty Killer was not amused by Beenie's acts of lyrical piracy, at a time when they were both just taking hold of the cut-throat world of dancehall.

Bounty Killer's victory at Sting confirmed him as the heir to Ninjaman's throne in the lyrical theatre of war, something he continues to prove to this day.

His battle cry "peeeeeople dead" set off a slew of slangs and phrases that instantly caught on, and to this day, has become part of the Jamaican dialect - slangs such as "boung bang," "bullet!" and "connect!"

Bounty Killer began to broaden his subject matter into streetwise social commentary, most notably on the perceptive drug-trade chronicle Down in the Ghetto.

Over the next year, Bounty Killer enjoyed one of his hottest streaks as a hitmaker in Jamaica, as he released one popular song after another: a smash duet with Sanchez called Searching, the hip-hop-flavoured chart-topper Cellular Phone, Smoke the Herb, the anti-censorship Not Another Word, the maternal tributes Mama and Miss Ivy Last Son, Action Speak Louder Than Words, Book, Book, Book, and No Argument.

defining statement

Bounty Killer left the Jammys camp in 1995 and formed his own Scare Dem Productions and Priceless Records labels.

In 1996, Bounty Killer released his defining statement, the 20-track seminal double album My Xperience. The single Hip-Hopera entered the Billboard singles chart with My Xperience spending an unprecedented six months at number one on the Reggae Billboard chart, and two months on the Billboard Top Albums chart.

While reggae artistes like Bob Marley and Shabba Ranks have had their albums cross over into rock/pop markets, My Xperience has the unique distinction of being one of the only reggae albums ever to break into and strongly influence the hip hop community.

Bounty Killer's collaborations with Busta Rhymes, the Fugees, Wu-Tung Clan and Jeru the Damaja, set the benchmark against which all other hip hop/reggae hybrid records are measured.

new generation

In 1998, Bounty Killer returned with a high-profile, guest-laden follow-up to My Xperience, titled Next Millennium, that featured the new generation of hardcore New York hip-hoppers, including Noreaga, Mobb Deep, Killah Priest, and the Cocoa Brovaz. Deadly Zone was featured on the soundtrack of Blade and made the Top Ten on the rap singles chart in America. This album again sold respectably well among R&B audiences.

In late 2001, Bounty Killer made a prominent guest appearance on No Doubt's international smash Hey Baby, appearing in the video and performing with the group during the 2002 Super Bowl and on UK flagship show Top of the Pops. He received multi-platinum discs, a Grammy and became the first Jamaican recipient of an MTV Moonman Award as just some of the accolades for this fruitful collaboration.

sprawling ambitions

Hip hop Producer Swizz Beatz approached Bounty Killer in 2002 to collaborate with him on the lead single from Ghetto Stories, Swizz's debut album as an artiste.

Bounty Killer returned to the sprawling ambitions of My Xperience for his next project, the two-volume Ghetto Dictionary set.

Issued separately and simultaneously in early 2002, Ghetto Dictionary: The Art of War and Ghetto Dictionary: The Mystery which was given four stars by Rolling Stone magazine and went on to be nominated for the 2002 Reggae Grammy. One of the tracks, Sufferah, was also included in Rolling Stones Top 10 Hip Hop songs of 2002.

After 17 glorious years in the business, Bounty Killer has seemingly done all there is to do; appearing on Multi-platinum discs, recording with the biggest names in world music, touring the world to this day, producer, promoter (Saddle to the East), Grammy Awards etc., but is perhaps best known for his legacy of being able to spot and nurture talent.

high profile names

Bounty Killer is heralded as being responsible for bringing the current crop of dancehall stars to the forefront. Elephant Man, Mavado, Busy Signal, Wayne Marshall, Baby Cham, Bling Dawg and Vybz Kartel are just a few of the high profile names to whom Bounty Killer has brought fame and fortune.

Vybz Kartel left Bounty Killer's camp and formed his own in 2006. In his recent release Chatterbox, Bounty unleashes a lyrical tirade on Vybz Kartel that has once again set dancehall fans buzzing for the five star general, leader of the Alliance, Poor People's Governor, the Warlord.

Stealing the accolades at Sumfest 2009, Bounty Killer has proved he is as relevant today as he was in 1992.

More details have come to light regarding the arrest of troubled rapper Gucci Mane. The rapper was taken into custody by Dekalb County Police while visiting his probation officer on Friday, April 8, after allegedly pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle.

Dekalb County Police have now confirmed the reports that Gucci is in fact being charged for the incident with the woman, whom he allegedly picked up at a local mall and invited out to breakfast. When the woman refused the rapper's $150 offer to engage in undisclosed activities at a local motel, Gucci reportedly pushed her out of the moving car. She was later treated for soreness and pain at a local hospital.

Gucci, who has had several run-ins with the law over the past six months, was charged with a misdemeanor count of battery, but is expected to face further charges for violating the terms of his probation.

The Brick Squad rhymer is currently being held in Atlanta's Dekalb County Jail, where he has failed to make his $40,000 bail. Meanwhile, he and protege Waka Flocka Flame will be releasing their collaboration album, 'The Ferrari Boys,' later this spring, followed by Gucci's fourth solo album, 'The Ice Cream Man,' which comes after his recent facial tattoo. Gucci dropped his new street album, 'The Return of Mr. Zone 6,' featuring the new cut '24 Hours,' on March 22.

Jim Jones Sells 21K in First Week

After taking over the Billboard Top 200 last Wednesday (April 6), hip-hop seemed to have lost its presence in the upper echelon of the album charts this week. The only two rap discs to make it in that category were Wiz Khalifa and Jim Jones.

Following up an impressive first-week of almost 200,000 units, Wizs Rolling Papers LP slipped 70 percent in the last seven days, moving only 59,300, according to the Nielsen SoundScan report. This made him slide from his position at No. 2 to No. 5. Overall he has a total sales figure of 257,500.

Meanwhile Jones barely landed a seat at No. 20. Capo, his first solo album since parting ways with Columbia in 2009, moved about 21,000 units in its debut week.

Minaj slid six spots down to No. 26 this go-round. The Young Money princess debut LP, Pink Friday, continues to pull in sales in her 20th week on the charts. This cycle fans purchased about 17,000, bringing her to-date numbers to 1,298, 300.

Eminems Grammy-award winning Recovery album was scanned about 15,400 times this week, knocking the Detroit lyricist down two pegs from last week to No. 29. After 42 weeks, Em boasts a monster tally of 3,788,500.jim-jones.jpg

Wiz Khalifa is on a hot streak with his debut album 'Rolling Papers,' and he's keeping the ball rolling. The Pittsburgh spitter has announced his Rolling Papers World Tour 2011, with opening acts Chevy Woods and Big Sean.

The green-friendly tour puts the trio on the road through the summer, with plans to keep the pit stops in the United States. The trek begins on June 12 at Maryland Heights, Montana's Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, continuing on to hit venues including Cincinnati's PNC Pavilion at Riverbend, Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, New Orleans' Lakefront Arena, Boston's Bank of America Pavilion and more. The summer venture ends at Canandaigua, NY's Marvin Sands PAC on August 3.

Fans can purchase tickets for the tour beginning on April 20 -- aka 4/20, a date widely recognized where people convene to celebrate in the shared activity of smoking marijuana -- though advance tickets go on sale for members of Wiz's fan site. The tour's announcement comes on the heels of the rapper's debut album, which debuted last week at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 191,777 copies sold. This week, the album slips to No. 5 with an additional 59,000 units moved.

Laurent Gbagbo and his wife Simone at the Hotel du Golf in Abidjan after their arrest

Laurent Gbagbo and his wife Simone at the Hotel du Golf in Abidjan after their arrest

ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast (AP) Forces loyal to Ivory Coast's elected president ended the 10-year rule of strongman Laurent Gbagbo yesterday, storming the bunker where he was held up and putting him under arrest following a crisis that left hundreds dead and threatened to reignite a civil war.

Gbagbo's dramatic arrest came after days of heavy fighting during which French and UN helicopters fired rockets at his presidential residence. Forces backing the internationally recognised winner Alassane Ouattara had begun a rapid offensive to oust Gbagbo late last month.

Issard Soumahro, a pro-Ouattara fighter at the scene, told The Associated Press that the ground offensive to seize Gbagbo came after the French launched airstrikes until at least 3:00 am yesterday.

"We attacked and forced in a part of the bunker. He was there with his wife and his son," Soumahro said.

He added that Gbagbo was tired and had been slapped by a soldier, but was not otherwise hurt.

Gbagbo was interrogated and brought to the Golf Hotel, where Ouattara has been trying to run his presidency since the November 28 vote. Officials were waiting for him to sign a document that formally hands power over to Ouattara, Soumahro said. TV footage from the Golf Hotel showed Gbagbo in a white sleeveless undershirt and then donning a colourful print shirt.

"The nightmare is over for the people of Ivory Coast," Ivory Coast's UN ambassador said.

Youssoufou Bamba, who was appointed UN ambassador by Ouattara, said Gbagbo will face justice. He predicted fighting that has wracked this former French colony will stop as soon as pro-Gbagbo forces learn of his capture.

But it will be very difficult for Ivory Coast to mount a domestic court to try Gbagbo, said Richard Downie, an Africa expert at the Washington-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies, adding that it would "probably be a lightning rod for more unrest".

"(Ouattara) didn't want to come to power this way, through the barrel of a gun," Downie said. "He was elected fairly and freely. But this is the situation he was dealt. It's going to be incredibly difficult for him to bring the country together."

In western Ivory Coast, rebels fired into the air in jubilation in Duekoue, causing a panic among refugees who fled in all directions or dropped to the ground in terror. In villages going east from Duekoue, people danced in the streets, waving tree branches. In one village, young men paraded with the orange, white and green Ivorian flag.

"It's a victory... considering all the evil that Laurent Gbagbo inflicted on Ivory Coast," Ouattara's ambassador to France, Ali Coulibaly, told France-Info radio. He emphasised that the man in power for a decade would be "treated with humanity".

"We must not in any way make a royal gift to Laurent Gbagbo in making him a martyr," Coulibaly said. "He must be alive and he must answer for the crimes against humanity that he committed."

Some critics had accused Gbagbo of clinging to power in part to avoid prosecution by the International Criminal Court. ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo has begun preliminary examination of possible war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ivory Coast, including accusations levelled against forces seeking to install Ouattara.

Ivory Coast was divided into a rebel-controlled north and a loyalist south by a 2002-2003 civil war. The country was officially reunited in a 2007 peace deal. The long-delayed presidential election was intended to help reunify the nation but instead unleashed months of violence.

A 15-month-old was rushed to the hospital in a Detroit suburb after he was served alcohol instead of apple juice in his sippy cup.

Taylor Dill-Reese told local television station WJBK that her son was happily sipping what he thought was juice when he began acting rather strange.

"He was saying hi and bye to the walls," she said. "He eventually laid his head down on the table and we thought maybe he was just sleepy."

But when she tasted the apple juice, it turned out to have very low fruit content it was actually a margarita, she claimed.

Dill-Reese immediately rushed her son to the hospital, where his BAC was .10 which if he was old enough to drive a car would put him over the legal limit.

Luckily, the tot turned out to be fine but Dill-Reese is still outraged that a family meal turned into such a frightening experience.

The manager of the Applebee's apologized and the chain promised to launch an investigation into the matter.

But the frightened mom likely won't be returning anytime soon.

"Nobody at the table ordered alcoholic drinks," she said. "So, he definitely shouldn't have received one."

A dazzling blond former Hunter College student was fatally stabbed and nearly decapitated Sunday after battling with her live-in boyfriend, cops said.

The yelling between Sarah Coit, 23, and Raul Barrera, 33, inside their third-floor lower East Side apartment grew so loud that it woke neighbors around 2:15 a.m., witnesses said.

amd_raul_berrera.jpg?width=340

Cops would later find Coit on the living room floor of the Clinton St. flat, *la*hd spilling from her wounds.

"Her whole neck was cut all the way," said Briana Andalore, 20, who lives downstairs and saw the victim being hauled away on a stretcher. "Her head was almost cut off."

Coit, who worked sales at Lacoste, sources said, and last enrolled at Hunter a year ago, according to the school, died at Beth Israel Medical Center about an hour later.

The roars of the couple's fighting - which sources said was about the pair splitting up - echoed throughout their apartment walls for about 20 minutes, neighbors said.

Jason Figueroa, 15, who lives just above the couple's apartment, said he heard arguing and then what sounded like Coit being attacked.

He called cops.

"She was like, 'Stop! Get off of me!'" said the shaken teen.

"She was yelling and then she just got quiet," he said, "That's when I called 911."

Several others tried to answer Coit's *la*hdcurdling cries, but to no avail.

"She was screaming," said Joost Bohner, 33, a tourist from Holland staying next-door.

"People tried to help her," he said. "Then it was quiet."

Police sources said cops found Coit with several stab wounds to her body - and her neck sliced open.

Barrera, who was arrested last year for allegedly assaulting a man, turned himself in at the 9th Precinct stationhouse in the East Village soon after the grisly murder when a relative urged him to go to the police, sources said.

He was then taken to the 7th Precinct stationhouse, where he was charged with second-degree murder.

Barrera, wearing a light-colored jumpsuit, showed no emotion and said nothing to reporters as he was walked out of the stationhouse. He was still awaiting arraignment last night.

Neighbors said they had heard the couple argue before, but never so loud. Police said they had not been called to the address before yesterday.

A family friend in Coit's ritzy hometown of Riverside, Conn., near Greenwich, said she was heartbroken for the family.

"[Coit] was their only daughter," said the woman, who did not want to give her name.

"She was a great young woman," she said. "They are wonderful people."

Records show Coit's father, Lynde Coit, is a prominent financial adviser. He and his wife, Anne Taylor, could not be reached for comment.

One of Coit's two brothers, Stephen, declined to speak when contacted by the Daily News.

According to Coit's LinkedIn profile, she was studying for a career in marketing and advertising.

Barrera worked in public relations for companies such as Propaganda NY and Coleman Entertainment Group.

Derek Guadalupe, the superintendent of Coit's former home on the upper East Side, said the young beauty was always busy with her schoolwork.

"She was a nice kid," he said. "It's a shame what happened. It's sad. She had a future ahead of her."

Rapper Lil Wayne wants to, or maybe just needs to, unload his Miami mansion on La Gorce Island, Fla., that he purchased early last year for $14 million. He is asking $12.9 million for a possible quick sale given he has an Internal Revenue Service tax lien hanging over his head.

The IRS says the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., owes the government a total of $5.6 million, which breaks down to $3,351,078 owed for 2008 and $2,258,956 for 2009. Last year, he had liens against him for more than $1 million for the tax years 2004, 2005 and 2007.

Before purchasing his 15,101-square-foot home he had rented it for several months from a real estate developer, area real estate agent Andre Shambley of the ERA Herman Group told this AOL Real Estate contributor. While renting, Lil Wayne's four-bedroom South Beach condo at the Murano Grande was on the market for $2.8 million to help pay off last year's lien. The 9-bedroom, 9 full-bath, glass, steel and marble modern residence has a two-story master suite accessible by a glass elevator and two half baths. The living room truly has a floor-to-ceiling wall of glass, which stretches the full length and height of the open space.

In addition to the 2004-built three-level estate there is also a 3-bedroom guest house, a swimming pool, a 3-car garage and about 120 feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay.

Miss Keri has decided to strip down for Allure Magazines annual Body Issue photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.

We do a lot of things to seek validation: I have to get more expensive handbags or fake lashes or fake boobs. This shoot was about dropping all that. Its so empowering to embrace my insecurities.
