A past time secret of Angelina Jolie is revealed by her former bodyguard, Mickey Brett. Star magazine reports on its May 18 issue that the mother of six went on a date and made love with her mother Marcheline Bertrand's boyfriend when she was a teenager. "March and her guy had a huge fight, and Angie saw her chance to seduce him," an insider quotes the bodyguard. "Angie cried and begged March to forgive her. Of course, March did."
Most recently, Angelina Jolie was reported expecting her 7th baby with her longtime lover Brad Pitt. "She's thrilled. She said she knew she was pregnant before the test confirmed it!" a source previously told the magazine about Jolie's two and a half months pregnancy.
Furthermore, the source also claimed the couple has yet to announce the pregnancy rumors as they still faced some serious problems in their relationship. "They'd been trying for another baby for months, but it was still a total shock when she found out. Brad and Angie have been fighting so much lately, it just didn't seem possible," the source added.
The Charts: Rick Ross Dips, While Mike Jones Can't Crack Top 10
After landing at no. 1 last week, Rick Ross' latest album Deeper Than Rap dove to no. 4 this week, selling 51,000 copies, a 67% decline from last week's numbers.
Outside the top 10, we have a new album from Mike Jones. The Houston rapper returns after a four year hiatus with The Voice, taking a seat in the no. 12 spot with nearly 25,000 copies sold in its first week.
Two spots later, at no. 14, is Asher Roth's Asleep In The Bread Aisle. The debut album from "I Love College" rapper sold over 23,000 copies in his third week, putting his total at 88,000.
At no. 16 is Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World... with 23,000 copies; Jamie Foxx's Intuition sells another 22,000 copies to put him at 885,000 after 20 weeks; Beyonce's I Am ... Sasha Fierce jumped up a spot to no. 19 with 20,600; and Jadakiss' Last Kiss rounds out the top 20 with just over 20,000.
Debuts outside the top 20 include Midwest rapper Tech N9ne's new collabos project Sickology 101, which opens at no. 23 selling almost 19,000 copies.
However, according to a report from HipHopDX, SoundScan made an error. Tech's label Strange Music released numbers claiming they actually sold 21,455, which should put them within the top tier.
According to Billboard.com, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending May 3) totaled 6.172 million units, down 0.6% compared to the sum last week (6.176 million) and down 18.3% compared to the same sales week of 2008 (7.557 million).
Year to date album sales stand at 124.0 million, down 12.5% compared to the same total at this point last year (141.8 million).
DJ Drama Says T.I. is Going To Address Alfamega Controversy

In response to the recent outing of Grand Hustle rapper Alfamega as a DEA informant by The Smoking Gun, label head and King of the South T.I. plans to address the media soon, according to DJ Drama in an interview with XXLMag.com last night (May 7).
I spoke to Tip about it and Tip is definitely preparing to speak to the media about the situation, Drama told XXL. And as boss man, I would definitely honor him to make a statement before I make a statement, but theres definitely a consensus among [Grand Hustle].
Though The Smoking Gun has been known to invade the private lives of rappers also outing Rick Ross as a corrections officer last year Drama remains understandable of the intrusions in the name of authenticity.
When you put yourself as a public figure and you put yourself out there to represent one thing and it comes out that you represent the opposite, the public has the right to be aware of that, said Drama. We all know hip-hop is about being true to yourself and being true to your name. Ice Cube said it long time ago its about being real with yourself whoever you may be.
According to inside sources, Vibe Magazine is almost on the way out. Vibe's long-run in the game looks to be coming to an end. Sales and subscriptions have been at an all-time low for the past couple of months.
Vibe Magazine used to be a staple in the hip hop community, but ever since Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith took over, the ship has been slowly sinking. I think we could say that she is single handedly responsible for Vibe Magazine falling apart.
Recently, a story was published in Vibe which listed the Top 50 Hip Hop Blogs out today. If you look at their list, it's clear to see that Vibe has NO CLUE what the kids are looking at. Ever since Danyel took over it seems like Vibe is detached with what's going on in the entertainment world. A magazine that started out as something that hip-hop fans could be proud of has quickly turned into a magazine hip hop fans are ashamed of.
It's a sad day when Vibe Magazine has approximately 130 pages and 70 of those pages are advertisements. As a loyal reader of Vibe magazine, who has followed it and watched the magazine grow for the past couple of years, I hate to say it, but Vibe is on the way out.
On the bright side, hopefully when Danyel Smith is out of a job, she can work with her husband over at Wak Radar. Good luck Elliot!
Redman & Method Man Recruit Old School Lineup For Upcoming Show
A slew of classic hip-hop acts like EPMD, Brand Nubian, Black Sheep and Lords Of The Underground will be hitting the stage along with N.O.R.E., Redman and Method Man later this month.
Presented by Funkmaster Flex and Adam Lublin, the show, under The Hip-Hop Legends Concert Series, will take place at S.O.B.s in New York City on May 24. Tickets, which can be purchased now on the venues website, are going for $30.
Headliners Red and Meth are currently preparing for the release of their new album, Blackout 2. The disc, which is a sequel to their platinum selling 1999 disc of the same name, hits stores on May 19. N.O.R.E. recently put out a new C-N-N album, Channel 10, with his partner-in-rhyme Capone. Brand Nubian rapper Grand Puba also has a new record coming out on indie label Babygrande records. The disc, titled Retroactive, is scheduled for a June 23 release.
As news broke about Alfamega snitching, after The Smoking Gun exposed the Atlanta rapper Alfamegas past work as a government informant earlier of the week, Grand Hustle has decided to take action. T.I., the Co-CEO of Grand Hustle announced that Alfamega was no long a part of Grand Hustle through a statement on Atlantas Hot 107.9.Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past, and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I have always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions. We at Grand Hustle can not support or condone the blaming of others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray to God, bless his savings plans, but I dont foresee me or my company playing a role in his personal or professional business.

"In a few weeks, I will begin a one-year prison sentence for being in the possession of illegal firearms. Where I come from, having a gun is just part of everyday life. But, through this painful process of going to court and being convicted, I realized that I had to make a change. I made some bad decisions. I broke the law and will accept my punishment. With deep reflection about where my life was headed, I have begun the process of redemption, and decided that before I go to prison, I want to speak to young people about responsibility as a lifestyle. I hope that through my mistakes, young people can begin to learn, as I did, that we have to put our guns down and start to give our guns back. It pains me inside to hear about so many of our people dying because of gun violence. Just in the past weeks, a 13-year old boy was shot in the head in Harlem, a 17 and 19-year old were murdered in a double homicide in Queens and a 15 year old was chased, beaten, shot and burned in Chicago.
We will gather today in Harlem, with many mentors and supporters by my side, including Rev. Al Sharpton, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, Political Swagger, Mobile Regime and the C.H.A.N.G.E. Initiative to share the message that now is the time. Now is the time to speak out against gun violence. Now is the time to take responsibility for our actions. Now is the time to make our communities safer. Now is the time to support good legislation, like the S.N.U.G. bill in NY. Now is the time to give back our guns. Now is the time for me to lead by example.

Anelka: Happy to fight for his place
The France international has found himself on the bench following the arrival of Guus Hiddink as interim manager, with Didier Drogba back in favour, despite him being the Premier League's leading scorer for much of the campaign.
The lack of first team action led to rumours that the 29-year-old wished to move on. Anelka is no stranger to transfers having already played for Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Fenerbahçe and Bolton Wanderers. And he is not a player easy to keep happy.
"Nicolas will not move from Chelsea, everything is okay there," agent Doug Pingisi told Sky Sports.
"Nicolas has two more years on his contract and he is happy at Chelsea.
"I have spoken to everybody at Chelsea and they are happy with him so he will be staying."

Wenger signed Arshavin in January
Though the manager admitted he needed to strengthen in certain areas following Sunday's 4-1 home humbling at the hands of Chelsea, he still believes there is the nucleus of a successful side.
"We have a team which is 22 years old (on average), why should we look for revolution?" Wenger told L'Equipe. "That would be stupid and not responsible.
"I still believe that when you have responsibilities, you have to make decisions and stand up for that. Until now we have not done too badly
"I do not think that the team needs major investments."

Sparta Rotterdam are looking at signing Arsenal youngster Vincent van den Berg.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who has spent the season on loan at FC Zwolle and is out of contract in the summer, will play for Jong Sparta against Jong NEC Nijmegen on Tuesday.
"He has already trained with us a couple of times," Sparta technical director Richard Grootscholten told ELF Voetbal.
"Tonight he can play in a match so we can see what he can offer us. That's what trial matches are for, isn't it?
"He may be a reinforcement for Sparta. We of course know that Vincent is a good player but he was out for a while.

We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks. Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.
The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.

As XXLMag.com reported yesterday Eminem will be appearing on three episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live, starting this week, and it seems like he has a much bigger entourage than usual.
According to the Toledo Free Press, the reclusive rapper will be flying 200 laid off auto workers from plants in his home state of Michigan and Ohio to Los Angeles for his May 15 show.
He is flying us out, all expenses paid, for the show to put a face on the American auto workers who are affected by this hardship, Jon Michael Zapf, a man who works for Ohio Modular Management told the Free Press. He is supposed to do a meet and greet and sign autographs.
Along with this Fridays show, Em will also be on Kimmels late night show on May 19 and May 22. Relapse, his highly anticipated comeback disc hits stores in exactly one week from today.
WTF: British citizens urged to call police on People wearing too much bling
In Britian, a new Crimestoppers campaign called Too much bling? Give us a ring is encouraging citizens to call police at the first sight of anyone wearing too much bling without any visible means of support.
The Daily Mail reports:
In the latest example of innovative policing in Britain, the Gloucestershire force is encouraging members of the public to report people wearing too much 'bling' during the recession.
They are also urging people to shop anyone who drives flash cars or buys expensive items without the apparent means to afford them during the credit crunch.
The campaign, run with Crimestoppers, was launched by the force today under the title 'Too Much Bling? Give Us a Ring' with the aim of cracking down on those who live a lavish lifestyle on the profits of crime.
Gloucestershire's Chief constable Dr Timothy Brain said:
"In the current time of financial uncertainty, those who live a lavish lifestyle with no discernable, legitimate income become even more apparent. By flaunting their ill-gotten gains criminals signal contempt for everyone who works hard, and act as very poor role models for the younger members of society.There are certain members of the criminal fraternity for whom a prison sentence or some other form of court punishment is not a sufficient deterrent. Many criminals, including drug dealers and burglars, prize the trappings they have gained far more than their own liberty, and, having no need to get a legitimate job, are unconcerned by the impact a criminal record will have on their career prospects.'."
But Tory MP and former Home Secretary Ann Widdec****e expressed disbelief at the move.
She said:
"Is this a joke? If the police spent half as much time tackling crime and getting out on the beat as they do coming out with this ridiculous stuff, we'd all be better off. How are you meant to judge if someone buying a piece of jewellery can afford it? I expect even Posh Spice, like most people, can look a bit down and out some days."
Under the Proceeds of Crime Act, last year Gloucestershire Constabulary, the Crown Prosecution Service and the courts confiscated nearly Ł1.8million from convicted criminals and removed Ł1.4million in ill-gotten gains.
Adrian Foster, from Gloucestershire Crown Prosecution Service, said: 'We have had incredible success over the last year in taking the profit out of crime and this campaign marks a call for all members of the public to assist in ensuring that crime really does not pay in Gloucestershire.'

Looks like Ashanti and Irv Gotti will be parting ways soon. mtv.com is reporting that Irv Gotti will be dropping Ashanti from his label, The Inc.
Gotti says, he has not spoken to Ashanti in a minute and she needs guidance to be successful:

Most recently, several of Rihanna's naked photos, showing her exposing her bottoms and breasts, had been published online. Her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown was also seen in one shot, with pink panties on his head. The panties was believed belong to Rihanna. All of the photos allegedly were taken in the bathroom and bedroom of a hotel in Hollywood, where the couple stayed.
Rihanna's lawyers have not yet confirmed whether the pictures are genuine or not. Her record label Island Def Jam, in the meantime, has demanded that the photos be removed because they "violate the artist's rights".

Last week, Lloyd Banks showed love and broke down his new mixtape. Now, the G-Unit soldier is focusing on making a real LP. He's excited to be free from Interscope for his solo projects.
"I was ready to make a move," Banks said about leaving the 'Scope. "I'm a brand-new engine. If anything, it's their loss. It's been a dark shadow cast upon that. That's why you hear [Funk Master] Flex on the radio [boycotting Interscope], because it's an aura created around that machine, and the artists automatically get smacked in the head."
Banks is referring to a recent on-air tirade from Flex, who promised to not play any Interscope music because of the way he was treated by one of the label's executives.
"[An artist signed to Interscope] doesn't even know what's going on," Banks added. "You just turn on the radio, and they're saying, 'F--- Interscope Records,' and you fall into that batch. So it's almost a foul taste in the mouth when they deliver the record. I felt it's time for me to go somewhere where it's not biased and I get a fair shot. There's a lot of stuff on the table right now. You don't wanna speak about it until it gets ironed out all the way."
By the way, the rumors can stop right now: Banks isn't leaving G-Unit. Even though 50 is the boss, Banks and Yayo are co-founders. Can you imagine the Unit without either one of them? Banks said he's still moving under the team's umbrella, whether he goes with another major or even independent.
"Everything happened for a reason," Banks said. "I feel like I'm so blessed because of my work ethic and how easy the music is coming to me. It feels so good to be an independent artist with a brand. I have direct deals with iTunes and things of that nature, where it's direct money coming to me. It's 50 percent of me that's not pressed to be on a major.
"I have the Lloyd Banks branding and also the G-Unit branding," he added. "It hasn't really been an artist out there independent that is still capable of getting out there and regenerating energy. Most of the [well-established] artists that's independent, it's after they dropped seven or eight albums on a major. I have two albums off a major, and everybody is anticipating what I'm doing now off of the mixtapes."
Banks said Polow Da Don, Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze will be contributing beats to his new LP, and he wants some of the A-list MCs to get down as well. "I'm gonna get with the heavy-hitters and make something happen, make a classic album," he promised.
Bank is also eyeing a reality-TV show, similar to "For the Love of Ray J," on which he'd go out to Cali and women would compete to date him. "It's really not a rush," he said about shooting the possible series. "I'm good financially."

Play-N-Skillz Headed For Legal Showdown With Lil Wayne [Still haven't Been Paid For "Got Money" Beat]

Play-N-Skillz don't want to sue the biggest rapper on Earth, but they have yet to receive any monies for their work on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III.
Play-N-Skillz produced "Got Money," which was the third official single from Lil Wayne's acclaimed sixth studio album.
The song featured T-Pain and peaked at No. 4 on the iTunes Top 100 and No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"We haven't gotten any compensation. We really didn't want to speak on anything like that, just because of our relationship with Pain and Wayne. We're more thankful for the opportunity to be on Tha Carter III, but business is business at the end of the day," Skillz told AllHipHop.com at Sha Money XL's One Stop Shop producers conference over this past weekend.
Skillz, one half of the production hit squad, continued, "now it is coming to where we have to put our business hat on. We had the producer and the creative hat on, but now we wanna know what's going on."
"Got Money" was originally for Pitbull's album, Play said, but it was submitted a mere two days too late for inclusion on the Miami artist's album.
"So, by the time he sent it back, T-Pain was on the hook. T-Pain had made it happen," Play continued. "This just goes to show, where technology is going, Skillz explained. We had never even met Wayne. He's in there and with us being from the South, we had seen him here and there, but that was the first time we had actually worked with him. But we didn't actually go into the studio and work with him. Everything was third person."
The song made the rounds and soon there was talk that the song could be going to the next level.
"Pain's people reached out to us and they said there was a big rapper that wanted to rap on it. We wanted to know who the hell it was, Play continued. They said it was Wayne, they sent the files back, we changed the music on it, rearranged it and the rest is history."
How the future plays out is unclear, but both Play and Skillz want to resolve things amicably so that all parties can continue to make music.
"We think the legal issues will be taken care of. It might not even be on his radar. A lot of people fail to realize, the artist might not even know. I'm sure that Wayne doesn't even know or Pain doesn't even know," Skillz said. "It could be Universal Records, but somebody has to come with it. Give us our change, man...we need that. We got expensive tastes, baby. We're going to continue to work and hopefully it doesn't tarnish the relationship, Play said. But, if you don't handle your business, nothing you do makes sense anyway."
In related news, Play-N-Skillz are going to continue to work on music, but will also return to their rap craft as well.

Chris Brown's Lawyer Files A Motion Over Rihanna-Photo Leak Mark Geragos is trying to question the credibility of police
Chris Brown's attorney filed a motion on Wednesday asking the Los Angeles Police Department to turn over all the written statements and reports in connection with the department's investigation into the leak of the photo of a battered Rihanna.
According to TMZ, Geragos believes the now-infamous photo of Rihanna in which her face appears bruised and battered following an alleged February 8 altercation with then-boyfriend Brown was leaked by an LAPD officer. In the motion, Geragos claimed, "This highly prejudicial photograph was sold by an LAPD officer to the entertainment website, Thirty Mile Zone (TMZ)."
The photo was widely circulated on the Internet and set off an internal investigation at the LAPD into how it was obtained, the results of which have not been revealed. Geragos is reportedly seeking notes from the Internal Affairs probe, along with notes from the 25 officers and LAPD personnel who handled the case and other documents that he intends to use "at the preliminary hearing to attack their credibility. The defense intends to prove and argue that the aforementioned officers are not credible and that the Court should not believe some of their statements." A call to Geragos for comment on the motion was not returned at press time, and an LAPD spokesperson said the department does not comment on ongoing investigations. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office had also not returned calls for comment at press time.
Brown, 20, has been charged with two felony counts in the case assault and making criminal threats and remains free on bail following his arrest on the night of the alleged incident. The singer pleaded not guilty to the charges. Geragos is attempting to discredit the credibility of police witnesses and possibly have the case dismissed at an upcoming preliminary hearing in June. He wrote in the motion that if the court has any questions about the credibility of the investigating officers, "I believe there is a reasonable likelihood that the case will be dismissed at the preliminary hearing."
Regardless of whether an LAPD officer leaked the photo, as Geragos suggests, the attorney believes that the leak has irreparably damaged his client's case, according to The Associated Press.
"The purpose of the leak was necessarily for profit and to vilify Mr. Brown and poison the potential jury pool," Geragos wrote in his motion of the photo, which he claims was seen by "hundreds of thousands of viewers" and which can still be seen in multiple stories on the TMZ site, including its report on this motion. The AP reported that Geragos is seeking files on officers, detectives, supervisors, criminalists and a forensic photographer, as well as information about any misconduct complaints others have filed against officers in other cases. A judge is scheduled to hear the motions on May 28.
If convicted in the case, Brown could be sentenced to anything from probation to nearly five years in state prison.
Singer Chris Brown has denied rumors suggesting that he leaked ex-girlfriend Rihannas nude photos on the Internet, insisting he had nothing to do with the scandal.
According to radaronline.com, the singer, through his rep, issued a statement regarding rumors he leaked a series of topless pictures of his ex-girlfriend onto the Internet last Friday.
This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris (Brown) has not released or leaked any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter), said the singers spokesperson.

After nude photos appeared on the internet on Friday, Rihannas camp wants the photos removed.
TMZ is reporting the singers record label demanded that unauthorized photos violating artists rights be removed immediately. But, the label was careful not to confirm whether the photos were truly Rihanna since several body shots do not reveal Rihannas face.
Using the words unauthorized photos purported to be Rihanna, the singers legal team avoided confirmation but also failed to mention Chris Brown.

A traveller was caught with 14 live birds strapped to his legs under his trousers, customs officials said today.
US customs agents at Los Angeles International Airport discovered the birds under Sony Dong's trousers.
According to a Department of Justice officers searched Dong, 46, and 'found bird feathers and droppings on his socks, as well as birds' tail feathers visible under his pants.'
The subsequent search 'discovered 14 live birds attached to two flat pieces of cloth that were wrapped around his calves'.
Dong and accomplice Duc Le, 34, both from California, were trying to smuggle Asian songbirds into the US from Vietnam.
The birds included three red-whiskered bul-buls (which is listed as an injurious species under federal law), four magpie robins and six shama thrush.
The birds each appear to have been placed in sleeves that were hooked on to the cloth around Dong's legs.
Dong told investigators that he purchased birds for $50 each and re-sold them for $300-$400 each.

Jaden Allen, 6, has injuries on both arms, on his back, hip, and neck, after three pit bulls attacked him in his neighborhood last week. A neighbor had just picked him up from school and he was in her driveway when it happened.
And I heard him scream out and I looked back and three pit bulls were just ripping him apart, said neighbor Suzette Newman. I got the broom and tried to distract them but they werent paying them any mind."

One of the dogs owners came and got the pit bulls off the child. Jaden was rushed to the hospital with injuries so severe, his parents thought he might have to get skin grafts.
I want to see the dogs dead. I want to maybe try to change the laws to restrict these dogs from being owned," said Jaden's father, Kimani Allen.
Channel 2 Action News reporter Eric Philips went to the dog owners home but no one came to the door. A Beware of Dog sign was on the gate where the dogs somehow escaped. The dogs were quarantined after the attack.
I dont think any parent should have to go through this. You know, to see their son in pain like that and I just don't want it to happen again," said Allen.
One of the dogs did not have a recent record of rabies shots. That means Jaden will need to undergo a painful series of shots as a precaution.

Disaster looms with rising sea levels: islands it can happen
A shooting in Buffalo has claimed the life of a Bronx man who had just celebrated his college graduation.
Police say 23-year-old Javon Jackson was shot around 3 a.m. Sunday in the University Heights neighborhood.
He was taken to the Erie County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Jackson graduated from the University of Buffalo on Saturday, and his parents were in town for the ceremony.
Police believe the gunman may have been with three other men when they walked up behind Jackson. One of the men fired at least two shots, hitting him.
Police are trying to determine whether a skirmish in a bar earlier was related to the shooting.

In response to the current, harsh economic climate squ-eezing the life*lo** out of businesses, local massage parlours have started to offer recession-special packages in an attempt to stay viable and lure new customers.
Since last week, these facilities have published several advertisements in the media promoting their new recession-proof offers. The most notable of such advertisements was one last week that read "Big recession special: 2 girls, 2 services, $1,600".
When THE STAR contacted that establishment, posing as an interested caller, the female on the line explained that the offer was only valid on select weekdays.

"You naw go get de recession special today, is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday we offer dat," she explained. "Wid de recession package, yuh get two girls offering you two services for 20 minutes, that only cost $1,600. Plus you get to select the girls that you want."
When asked what type of services the girls would offer or how much it would have normally cost on pre-recession package, the female said the reporter should pay them a visit in person as she had clients to attend to and could no longer keep them waiting. She then hung up.
Another advertised 'business place' had a more customer-friendly receptionist. The sexual recession special packages here were available every day except on Sundays.
"Yes baby, yuh can get the special fi $1,500, sex and other sexual acts," the mature sounding woman said. "It last half an hour and yuh can get it anytime except on Sundays. I don't work on that day."

The woman further explained that the offer was quite reasonable in these times as those services would normally attract a cost close to $3,000. However, since the recent economic hardships, the new package was tailored to still make the pleasure she offered affordable. And, the response to the new deal is overwhelming, she claimed.
The woman reassured the caller that he would be well taken care of as "the rush gone from inna de morning" and she would be all his should he come by shortly.
Phone calls to the other establishments offering recession specials were not answered.

Famed gossip website TMZ.com is reporting that comedian and actor Eddie Griffin is embroiled in a lawsuit in which he is accused of swindling one of the recipients of a career-building program for college graduates.
According to the site, it all started with a $150,000 gift Griffin presented to the Jamaica 360 program which sends 100 African American college grads on a career building vacation to Jamaica. The lawsuit, filed by a man who went on the trip, claims the check bounced.
The man, Samir Sayegh, claims he was then duped into lending Griffin his credit card to cover a hotel bill while they were in Jamaica but according to the suit, Griffin took the card and secretly made a $150,000 charge to the main developer of J-360. Two weeks later, Samir got a bill from American Express with the six-figure charge.
AmEx is now suing Samir for the $150,000 charge, and Samir is suing Eddie and all the event developers to make them foot the bill.

"She said she had something she had to get off her chest," Bobby Reed said in an interview with the East Oregonian newspaper of Pendleton, which reported the story Sunday.
Bobby met the woman at the nursing home where she lives. The woman said Marjorie Angell insisted back in 1953 that she had been given the wrong baby after the nurses returned from bathing them. Her concerns, however, were brushed off.
Then the old lady showed Bobby an old photo.
"It looked like Kay Rene in about 7th or 8th grade," Bobby said.
But it was DeeAnn Angell's sister.
"Kay Rene is not a Reed," the woman insisted. "DeeAnn is a Reed."
Bobby, obviously stunned, didn't know what to do with the information. He didn't want to hurt anyone; he didn't want anything to change.
He finally decided to tell his two oldest sisters, and one of them told Kay Rene.
With both sets of parents dead, the Reed and Angell siblings compared notes and family stories, learning that rumors of a mix-up had been around for years. In early February, DeeAnn got a call from her sister, Juanita. "Do you remember those rumors of being switched at birth?" Juanita asked, and went on to provide the update.

But it was Martins' arrival as a 70th-minute substitute for Owen which proved the turning point.

Dancehall megastar Mavado kicked off his UK/European Tour in fine style last night at Club Isis in Nottingham, causing pandemonium with the many females in attendance, who spent most of his performance trying to drag him off stage.
The packed club was the first of 4 shows on the "Brighter Days" UK tour, with Bristol, Bradford and London finishing off the UK leg on Sunday night. Alliance stablemate Serani and Bugle are also on the UK tour. The Anger Management Band is the backing band for the London show, with Alliance selector Boom Boom also in the travel party.
Monday sees Mavado jetting off to Paris for his first-ever live shows in Europe, which will see the Gully god blaze a trail through France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium.
"It's my third time in the UK and every time it gets bigger and
better," says Mavado. "I will be performing in many new cities and
countries on this tour which is exciting and I am looking forward to
going to Europe to spread my music and represent Jamaica."
As soon as Mavado finishes up in Europe he will fly straight into Miami for the Best of the Best Memorial Day Weekend extravaganza, that promises to be bigger and better than ever, rounding out a gruelling month in LA for the UCLA Jazz Festival on Monday May 25th.

Rapunzel Christie, a second- year student at the institution, told THE WEEKEND STAR that the pervert usually drives into an apartment complex adjoining the school, parks in someone's driveway and after surveying the environment to ensure that no one is around, proceeds to a spot where the girls can see 'the show'.
Although he has never ventured onto the campus, Christie says he has found a location that is well within the view of students who study or 'lyme' on the back balconies of the dorm. She told THE WEEKEND STAR, "He just walks up, drops his pants and starts masturbating.
HE COMES AT NIGHTS
He usually comes between 10 and 12 [at night] and stays for about five minutes. If persons run and look, he'll stay longer, but if we look away, he'll leave. It's like five visits for the night, every other night.
Sometimes he goes to the front so people there can see him. "According to the student, he often takes his act further by encouraging the students to undress as well. "Sometimes he says 'pull down your clothes now', but most times he just does it and leaves."

"Sometimes we see him on the streets and even when we are dressed in regular clothes, he will say things like, 'good afternoon nurse'." The students say the matter has been reported to both the police and the campus security. He was reportedly warned and told to leave, by campus personnel, but still keeps returning. The students claim the police say there is little they can do.
Director of the school, Marcia McKay told THE WEEKEND STAR that the problem was one that was discussed with the students several times. "We've spoken to them time and time and we've asked them to refrain from congregating in the area. We have lots of security here - we've had razor wires installed and we have canine support service with our security personnel. There have been no reports that he's come onto the compound. The police have been called several times but he's evaded them." With regard to the threat of an attack outside of school grounds, she said, "I'll have to have more dialogue with them [students] and I'll confer with the Constabulary on how best to deal with it , in case they see him out there."
While not aware of the particular case, Detective Sergeant Radcliffe Levy of the Half Way Tree Police Station, revealed that the pervert can indeed be charged. "He can be charged with indecent exposure, if he exposes himself in the view of an officer or if someone gives a statement to that effect."

Street bus stop, cl**tching an umbrella and staring across the street.
Around 7:20 a.m. yesterday, the unidentified suspect walked across
the street and approached 15-year-old Soheil Turner, who had just
walked out of a Roxbury bodega, munching on a snack, according to
police.
The man and the boy spoke briefly. Turner, an eighth-grader who had
been waiting to catch the bus to school, did not appear to be afraid,
according to video surveillance viewed by a law enforcement official
who requested anonymity.
Then the man pulled out a gun and shot Turner twice in the head, police said.
The early morning shooting outside Nunez Market, not far from
bustling Dudley Square, shattered the sleepy routine of commuters
heading to work, shopkeepers opening their stores, and children going
to school. In a neighborhood that has experienced considerable
violence, the shooters cold boldness shocked residents and unnerved

GAINESVILLE Authorities say a 21-year-old aspiring rapper robbed a Gainesville convenience store and shot a clerk with a BB gun to gain "street credibility."
Police say Steven Gilmore Jr. has confessed to the Friday night robbery. He also confessed to a restaurant robbery that occurred last week.
According to the Gainesville police, Gilmore shot the clerk in the temple with a BB gun during the robbery.
Gilmore is being held in the Alachua County jail on robbery and aggravated battery charges. According to the Gainesville Sun, a 16-year-old accomplice was also arrested.
Chris Brown Celebrating His 20th Birthday With Family and Friends
Chris Brown turned 20 years old on Tuesday, May 5 and he has decided to celebrate his birthday alongside his family in Virginia. A source reported that the R&B singer recently held a small birthday celebration and invited some of his friends and family in Virginia.
Last month, Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to two charges addressed to him after allegedly beating his Barbadian girlfriend Rihanna on February 8. At that time, his lawyer Mark Geragos told the judge that "more discovery was needed" in the case. The "Kiss, Kiss" singer was charged with felony battery and making criminal threats to the 21-year-old songstress just hours before their scheduled performance at 2009 Grammy Awards.
Most recently, Chris was reported spending quality time together with the "Umbrella" singer. "Chris was spending time with Rihanna," a source previously told Radar Online of the couple. Soon after that, they reportedly rekindled their love just before Rihanna headed to her hometown in Barbados.
Rapper Nas and singer Kelis are headed for a divorce after less than six years of marriage.
I can confirm that she has filed for divorce, said a spokesperson for Kelis to VIBE magazine. We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.
Attorney Laura Wasser filed a divorce upon Kelis' behalf, citing irreconcilable differences.This is despite the fact that the couple are expecting a son together.
It was noted in her divorce papers that Kelis, who is seven months pregnant, is due to deliver the child on July 21. "Yeah, man, I find out what it's gonna be next week, so I'm happy," said Nas to MTV News in February about having a child with the singer.

Beenie Man called Rihanna on stage Sunday when he performed at a reggae show in Barbados and some are calling what he did embarra**ing to Rihanna.
For the whole day, Beenie breezing up in the Prime Ministers VVIP stand, drinking Hennesy straight from the bottle, buning a lil weed, going down every now and then to hug up the crowd just on the outside of the stand and clearly fulljoying himself.
Towards the late afternoon, Rihanna, who has been in Barbados for the past week or so, came into the stand as well and was just chilling.
Anyhow, when Beenie touch the stage now at about 7:30 and gave a generally decent performance - certainly the crowd was with him.
Thennnn he start calling for Rihanna to report back stage immediately.
And then he start talking up a set of things about the infamous beating incident between her and Chris Brown, asking the crowd if they didnt think it was ah eediat ting weh Chris do while singing a very off-key version of the hook to Umbrella. You could hear a collective ooooohhhh! as the crowd *u*ked in its breath when he said it.
Honestly, you could tell that he was well-meaning, because he was definitely on her side and he was trying to hype up the crowd against Chris Brown but jeez you feel the girl really want to be reminded of that incident in front of tens of thousands of Bajans?
Said I to myself well no way she coming up on stage now!
But Beenie kept calling for her and singing Umbrella and lo and behold, she actually came up on the stage. Then he start singing his version of Umbrella , part of which went Mi nuh have no fancy car/But mi neva give you no scar.
Trust me.
I. was. shame. for de girl. Everyone was shame because the crowd didnt really hype up and carry on the way they had been earlier when he was just performing all his hits. I just wanted it to end.
You could tell she was a little shame too because she was waving an Ethiopian flag at first and then she put her arm over her face but kudos to her, she mostly kept her game face on while he went on and on bout the incident and smiled and waved to his singing.
Like I say, better than me because no way I was coming up on stage and worse, staying on while he reminded everyone of something she is clearly trying to put behind her. Obviously its hard to put behind her when it caused a global stir but to have it brought up so, right in front your face and on stage in front of thousands that rough still.
Anyhow, after a little bit she waved to the crowd and came off stage and you would think it would done there. But Beenie wasnt done. He told her that Chris fi get vex when he see the pictures of him (Beenie) and Rihanna hugging up on stage because he is the girls dem suga and anything the sugar touch get sticky and that when Chris see it he must get Heart Attack and then he went into that song.

It does sound embarra**ing, Rihanna is a brave girl to have gotten on stage. She probably figured it would shut him up if she just got on the stage.
Sidenote: Beenie needs to stop calling himself the girls dem suga, hes got to be about 50 years old.
