A 12 Yr boy was arrested after throwing a rock through the windshield of soulja boy's tour bus.

The 12 year old was taken into custody outside Soulja Boy's concert at the U.S. Celluar Coliseum in *la*hmington, Illinois. 

When questioned by security as to the attack, the kid told arresting officers, "I hate Soulja Boy.

Yonkers Hip-Hop star DMX is free after serving over 90 days in jail on drug, fraud, and animal cruelty charges, a representative confirmed with AllHipHop.com. The rapper was released from Tent City, aka the Maricopa County Jail, late yesterday afternoon (May 13).

DMXs conviction and prison sentence was a culmination of a 2008 filled with legal woes. The rappers last arrest resulted in an extradition back to Phoenix after attempting to hide out in producer Scott Storchs Florida mansion.

Originally, DMX, born Earl Simmons, was to serve only 90 days in jail. His tenure was extended when he faced additional charges for allegedly assaulting a corrections officer over a food dispute. During his incarceration, X revealed plans to start a Christian ministry upon his release.

Reggae singer Alaine has found herself on the wrong side of the law as she was recently slapped with a $1.3 Million fined for breaching Customs' Act.

From BallerStatus.com -- Rumors that Alicia Keys came between couple Swizz Beatz and singer Mashonda have been lingering since they first surfaced sometime last year. While Swizzy has never admitted to it, Mashonda let the cat out the back earlier this year during a radio interview.

In an interview with Angela Yee on Sirius Shade 45, the singer confirmed rumors that superstar Alicia Keys caused a rift in her relationship.

According to Mashonda, she found her suspicions to be true when she discovered credit card statements that matched dates and cities on an Alicia Keys' tour. "That's a true statement, but that wasn't the first," Mashonda explained. However, she said she suspected something was going on before that evidence emerged.

Today in a brand new song, Swizzy finally owns up to it. On the remix for Drake's "Best I Ever Had," the producer/rapper says -- in so many words -- that Alicia owns his heart.

Swizzy admitted to the New York Daily News that he's in love with Keys, but says some of the lines were a bit exaggerated.

"We're nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring," he laughed. "This whole song is not about Alicia. The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked -- she never done that for me."

Swizzy explained that he's kept their relationship under wraps because he didn't want to aggravate Mashonda -- they are currently separated -- and says that what he and Keys have is "so precious."

The couple filed for divorce in February, following a nearly one year separation. But, things are started to get testy, as the pair bicker over money.

Mashonda is seeking interim support for their 2-year-old son, Kasseem Jr., arguing that Swizz has slashed his payments.

Swizz had been paying all of their bills, as well as giving her $5,000 a week. His advisers felt that was too much, so now he pays her $3,500 a month, on top of the bills.

"Swizz has put settlement offers on the table, but Mashonda won't say what she needs," a friend of the couple tells the paper. "She just came back from Paris and London. She drives a Bentley Flying Spur and a Cadillac Escalade. I don't think life's too bad for her."

The friend says Mashonda is resisting his offers "because he's been less than forthcoming about his true financial picture."

Swizz's lawyer, Dan Rottenstreich, added: "He has taken care of her and his son above and beyond what's required."

Mashonda's attorney Bernard Clair commented: "An application is pending before the court, where the facts will be developed."

The lawsuits in Hip Hop seem to be more common than the flu now-a-days. According to his latest twitter update, Russell Simmons may be preparing to sue the very label he birthed along with Rick Rubin in 1984. 

"Can't believe I'm suing defjam," the update reads.

"They are now trying to eat my lunch? Unbelievable bulles..unprecedented stupidity on their part"

No word as to why Simmons is preparing to wage a legal war on the label or as to what exactly he is referring to. 

Simmons promptly retracted his statement with another update stating "Oops my lawyers are pissed. I wasn't supposed to tweet dat ," which he has also since deleted

 Rick Ross recently shared his thoughts on fashion and expressed his desire to possibly venture out with his own clothing lines for larger men.

The Miami rapper also revealed the clothing lines he has helped inspire.

"I would just love to target a big and tall audience," Ross said in an interview. "A lot of times, big dudes can't walk in these stores and get these sizes of the fly sh*t. So I'd love to put something together just for the big guys. I've endorsed one or two fashion lines before for some little dudes in Miami, just showing them love. The rumor mill was ablaze this week with the news that actress Lauren London is five months pregnant with Lil Wayne's baby. TheYBF first broke the news, but no one in either camp would confirm or deny the rumor. Later, New York radio/TV personality Miss Info reported that a reliable source confirmed the rumor. This would be Wanye's third child. He has an 8 year old girl Reginae Carter, and a baby boy Dwayne Michael Carter III born last year.

Atlanta rapper T.I.'s luck just doesn't seem to run out.  As part of his plea deal,t he rapper is set to report to Forrest City's (Arkansas) low-security federal prison by noon on May 26 where he will join 1,500 other inmates as he serves a year-and-one-day prison sentence.

 

However, according to the Associated Press, T.I. may only have to do two months of the year long sentence. 

The self-proclaimed "King of the South," who faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each charge in his three-count indictment, will be credited for 305 days of home detention he already served after being charged, reducing the sentence to 61 days. 

Upon his release, Harris will be on probation for three years. He also must pay a $100,000 fine as part of his sentence.

A woman has severed her boyfriend's penis with a kitchen knife after accusing him of raping her daughter.

Maria da Silva allegedly attacked 42-year-old Isaias Saturnino while he was sleeping at their home in north-eastern Brazil.

She then fled the scene and remains on the run, police said.

Saturnino underwent reconstructive surgery and was said to be in good condition, but is expected to stay at least two months in the hospital for observation.

Police official Fabio Gaudencio said Silva's daughter, now a teenager, accused Saturnino of raping her from the age of seven.

Saturnino has not been charged with any offence

T.I., whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr., must report to Forrest Citys low-security federal prison by noon on May 26, according to court filings. There, Harris will join 1,500 other inmates as he serves a year-and-one-day prison sentence after pleading guilty in March to federal weapons charges in Atlanta.

T.I.  had faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each charge in his three-count indictment.

Harris will be credited for 305 days of home detention he already has served after being charged, so his stay at the Forrest City prison likely will be only two months.

R.D. Weeks, a spokesman for the prison, said Harris likely would be treated like any other prisoner coming into the facility.

"Unless there are custody or security concerns, all incoming inmates are placed in general population," Weeks told The Associated Press.

Weeks said each cell at the prison is double-bunked. Harris also will have the opportunity to use the recreation yard, as well as take part in counseling or participate in the one of the facilitys 14 religious groups, Week said.

Harris, 28, was arrested after trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents in 2007. That came after Harris best friend was killed following a post-performance party in Cincinnati in 2006. The rapper has said the bullets that killed his friend were meant for him.

Upon his release, Harris will be on probation for three years. He also must pay a $100,000 fine as part of his sentence

The man killed during a high-profile shooting at the Beverley Center in Beverley Hills, California today was Atlanta rapper Dolla, sources have confirmed with AllHipHop.com.
  Dolla, born Roderick Anthony Burton II, hailed from East Atlanta and Los Angeles. He was signed to Akons Konvict Muzik imprint.
  The rapper was shot and killed shortly after 3:00 PM near the La Cienga Boulevard entrance, after a fight between a group of individuals broke out.  Witnesses report that a woman was seen firing a handgun. Another source said a male suspect was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport as he attempted to board a flight. Dolla was originally a member of Hip-Hop group Da Razkals Cru, before he landed a gig for Sean Diddy C****s as a model for Sean John. Dolla had gained a buzz via his track "Who The Heck Is That?" which featured T-Pain and Tay Dizm. The rapper was reportedly working on his debut solo album titled a Dolla & A Dream

According to bossip.com, Yung Joc is going after the infamous career-ending Diddy and Bad Boy Records. He might be the only one in the history of Bad Boy to actually take Diddy to court over money and his music.

Yung Joc reports that there has been some shady business deals, missing budgets, and now rumors of company financial hardships he reached out to Gyantunplugged.com to share his side of the story. Block Entertainments number one artist has been noticeably absent from the roster for at least a year. There have been industry whispers going around that their was inner turmoil inside the record label, particularly between Joc and Block. A couple of weeks ago the newest rumor was that Joc was leaving Block Entertainment all together and had decided to make the full move over to Bad Boy records. But it looks like Harv and them over at Bad Boy records is playing games with easy going MC and now Jocs taking everybody to court.

Joc broke down all his gripes regarding his relationship with the owner of Block Entertainment Mr. Big Block. Joc alleges that due to contractual situations, unpaid royalties and unpaid advances the young business mogul and his legal team is currently in the process of taking legal action against his record label.

The multi-platinum rap star alleges that Block Ent/Bad Boy hasnt offered any label support since 2007. Yung Joc went on to make shocking claims about the inner dealings of Block Ent.

According to Joc, hes paid for his own public relations, claims to not be receiving his advance money for his projects, alleges that Block has used advances for other projects, and even makes shocking claims regarding his former management company 9196.

Joc quickly broke down his reasons for splitting with his former mgmt company, which happened to be owned by Big Block, but is fronted by CEO Rico Brooks. Yung Joc breaks down the situation by saying that it was nothing more then a 360 deal , that resulted in Block getting a piece of everything. Many people didnt know, but Shakir Stewart and Ted Lucas took over mgmt of Jocs career shortly after Joc ended his relationship with 9196. But since Shakes suicide late last year, Yung Joc and two mgmt companies have taken over mgmt duties.

And whats this Im hearing about Big Block charging other record companies 25k to clear Joc for a record? I guess that explains why we havent seen Mr. Robinson in any videos recently. Joc shared tells of Blocks Suge Knight -esque actions thats prevented Joc from being cleared to do other music projects outside of Bad Boy and Block ENT.

But, though Jasiel Robinson is upset with his current business situation with Block, the popular artist wasnt in the mood to throw grease. I have been hearing all kinds of rumors surrounding BlockENT and when asked about the street whispers, Joc made it clear that he was only interested in addressing his direct gripes with the company.

Joc is currently being legally represented by Londell Mcmillian and Nova Perry.

It should be noted that Jocs new venture with Hot Stylz is a profitable one. Their smash single Lookin Boy feat Joc sold over a million ringtones and Jocs currently hard at work on his newest project Mr Robinsons Neighborhood, and has re-teamed up with producer Nitti .

Michaels tests showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face.

He was at first very concerned, but says he has been assured by the doctors that they can treat this and he will recover.

Ziggy Marleys newest release, Family Time made its debut this week at the coveted top spot of the Billboard Top Reggae Album Chart.

Family Time pushed ska band Easy All Stars, Easy Stars Lonely Hearts Band to the number two position. This spot was formerly held by Rasta Got Soul, the most recent offering from deejay Buju Banton. Banton recently made his debut at number two, to much fanfare, and has since been unable to knock Easy All Stars from the top of the charts. Rasta Got Soul peaked at number 2 and now slides into the number 3 slot.
Over on the Billboard Top 200 chart, Family Time made its debut at #149 and slid into the #20 slot on the Top Independent Albums chart.


Family Time was produced by Don Was and features members of the Marley family including Rita, Cedella and his daughter Judah alongside other international acts including Paul Simon, Jack Johnson and Willie Nelson as well as actress Jamie Lee Curtis who narrates two stories.


Ziggy is quoted in an interview as saying the record represents my daily family life and is inspired by my three-year-old daughter Judah and baby Gideon. It was a joy to make and opened up new avenues in my creativity.

Flexxx Denies Feud With Flippa

Fast rising deejay and Mavado's wingman Flexxx has once again found himself embroiled in more controversy. This time around it's alleged that the Alliance young gun is currently feuding with dancehall high roller Flippa Mafia over utterances he made in a song on the Clearance Riddim. However yesterday 876radio.com caught up with the deejay and posed the question to him in an effort to set the record straight. According to the Grants Pen native he's still at a loss has to the origin of the rumours but was swift to deny the allegations and said the lyrics in question were never aimed at the flashy deejay. "Flippa ah mi fren, mi nuh kno nutten bout Flippa ...... a regular mi bruk and deh a farin and a Flippa gimme money" - he added. In the same breath he notified us of his misfortunes that is Passport had been misplaced, hence the reason he's now grounded instead of accompanying Mavado on his current tour of Europe. Canadian rapper Drake announced to MuchMusic that theres a massive late-summer tour in the works that will see him join three of hip-hops greats on stage.
God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybodys schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people, Drake said. One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me.

As we previously reported, Drake played his first sold-out show in Toronto on Wednesday night. Surprise guests included local rapper Page who jumped on stage to trade verses for Im Still Fly, as well as Bun B of UGK who performed Uptown from Drakes So Far Gone mixtape.

Students at school in Westmoreland got real high last week and it had nothing to do with their grades.

It had to do with the sale of 'weed' cakes which they purchased at the school and, after eating, could not hold back the effects as they spoke gibberish and giggled away despite the presence of their form teacher. 

A 17-year-old student who allegedly peddles drugs at the school is being sought by the police.

Information  is that last week Thursday, a fifth-form student brought the cakes to school and sold slices to at least eight boys from one class. 

It was further learnt that a teacher who turned up to at the fourth-form class realised that the boys were acting unusual and subsequently raised questions. 

It was then discovered that the students had eaten the cakes. The principal was told and the police later summoned. 

Detective Inspector Desmond Sewell of the Area One police confirmed the incident and noted that the location of the institution makes for easy access to drugs.

The police say the school is situated near several areas known for weed sales. 

"We were made aware of the incident by the principal and we actually spoke with the students ... . A student who is said to regularly sell ganja at the school has not been seen since the incident and is being sought," Detective Inspector Sewell said. 

Efforts to get a comment from officials at the school were unsuccessful as all queries were directed to the principal and a cell number provided went unanswered on numerous occasions.

Jahvinci is the first artiste out of the Portmore Empire other than Vybz Kartel to score a number one single as his Watch Yu Friends hit roared to the number one spot of the RE TV dancehall charts and also blasted into the top ten of the Jamaica Music Countdown this week.
I would like to first thank God for giving me the strength and the talent to achieve my first number one. Secondly, mi want to big up Vybz Kartel and the whole Empire who gave me the chance to show the world my talent, and thirdly, I want to thank my fans, and the disc jockeys and selectors who played the song and gave it the love. The song, Watch Yu Friends, is a special song for me and I love how all of Jamaica has gravitated towards it, he said.

Jahvinci recently performed at the Bikini Seafest at Tropical Beach in Montego Bay where he was the headline act.

It was a great feeling because it was a good turnout, and it was the first time that I was in concert, you know as a headline act on a show without the whole Empire. It was really awesome how the people responded to the songs.

Jahvinci's latest radio hit, Money, is also doing well locally and is one of the top ten songs on the Fi Wi Choice Top ten show that airs on TVJ every Saturday.

From BallerStatus.com -- Twista addressed a report this week, clearing the air about rumors that he inpregnanted pornstar Pinky.

The Chicago rapper, via a statement, said that he has never been sexually intimate with the adult film star, and the rumors are completely untrue.

"I want to inform everyone that not only is Pinky NOT PREGNANT by me, but I've never had any type of sexual encounters with her," Twista said. "I ain't mad at her, but thanks for promoting my new album, Category F5, which will be out in July."

According to Twista's rep, he's happily in relationship, but did not reveal his significant other's identity. The rapper chose to address the rumor because he doesn't want to hurt his close family and friends, which he cherishes.

"I have the best fans ever and I ask that you respect them and my loved ones," he said.

In other Twista news, he is gearing up for the release of his eighth studio album, Category F5. The album's first single is "Wetter."

Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) has announced that a new $5,000 note is coming.

The note, which the BOJ says will carry high security features, will be introduced in September.

In a release this morning, the Central Bank said BOJ Governor Derick Latibeaudiere will officially launched the new $5,000 note next Monday.

The $5,000 note will bear the portrait of the late former Prime Minister, Hugh Lawson Shearer.

The BOJ says during Mondays launch, a proof note will be presented to Dr Denise Eldemire Shearer the widow of the late former Prime Minister.

Financial analyst Anne Shirley says there should be no uneasiness about the new $5,000 note.

According to her it does not indicate that the Jamaicas economy is trending in the direction similar to that of countries with very high inflation rates and equally high-value notes.

In 1994, Central Bank introduced the $500 note and six years later in 2000 the $1,000 note.

The DJ has performed to rave reviews every stop he makes and for him there can be no greater award than to see the looks on the faces of his fans when he steps on stage.

When it comes to flexibility and not being limited to any one style Double R will be the first to tell you that he doesnt set a limit on himself. As a producer and a songwriter you have to keep up to date with whats going on in the music world and move with the time, he stressed.

With the downtown in the economy Double R is not allowing that to faze him in his usual down to earth style he pointed out that Recession affects people that dont plan. He continued, Its all about moving with the times again. There are still artistes selling over six and eight million unit, he pointed out adding that artistes must realize that regardless of what the situation, good music will always sell,

It is said that Jah Cure had an altercation with someone from jail, who's friend in turn stepped to him. Jah Cure allegedly drew a knife at the person approaching him. The friend then called his posse who came to the club and shots were fired. One man was shot and injured

XXL magazine put Def Jam star Rick Ross  on the cover of their May issue, on newstands now. The rapper was photographed at close range, donning Louis Vuitton sunglasses. The publication learned, by way of letter to the editorial staff from Vuitton's attorney, that those glasses were indeed fake, causing a lot of controversy for the famed designer brand, and perhaps the rapper.

Sent by Michael D. Pantalony, Esq., the letter claimed the glasses' trademarks were "counterfeit," and caused "confusion" for readers and consumers. The attorney also clarified that Vuitton has no known association with the rapper or the publication. Ross has yet to comment on the claims.

Previously, rumors have swirled that Fabolous has worn counterfeit Nike sneakers and Lil Wayne has been photographed in counterfeit Bathing Ape clothing. Neither claims were ever verified, and both refuted by rappers.

Jack "The Sunglass Pimp" Bernstein, owner of Jack's Eyewear in Los Angeles released a statement, contending that the shades Ross donned were merely customized with solid gold accents, and were in fact authentic

"It's the same thing as buying a Rolls Royce and tricking out the entire interior, adding on a body kit, adding on the rims; after all that, youre not going to call the Rolls Royce counterfeit," Bernstein stated. Bolt offers tips to Ronaldo at Man United training

MANCHESTER, England (AP) - The world's fastest man offered running tips to football's world Player of the Year yesterday as Usain Bolt dropped in on a Manchester United training session.

Bolt, the Olympic triple gold medallist and United fan, took the opportunity to advise speedy winger Cristiano Ronaldo how to adjust the running technique that torments defences but often sees him tumble to the ground too easily.

"I explained to him a few things about when he is running and reaches top speed he starts to tip over, he always does that," Bolt said. "I let him know if he brings his foot on the centre of gravity, or even in front of him, it will be much easier. He will be much better and he will go faster for longer.

"Because he's so fast they keep pushing him around, he needs to be more aggressive (and) they will leave him alone. I think Ronaldinho had the same problem. They found he was very skilful and they kind of picked on him a lot. He got more aggressive and they stopped picking on him."

Bolt, who captured the 100- and 200-metre world records at the Beijing Olympics last year, will be able to see if Ronaldo has listened to his advice today.

Bolt will be at Old Trafford as United look to secure the Premier League title by getting at least a draw against Arsenal. The 22-year-old Jamaican will also appear on the pitch at half-time and present the Player of the Year award.

"I want to run on the pitch and score in the net if they let me," Bolt said. "It will be something for me to have pictures of. Who knows, maybe I can be a Man U player in the future!"

Bolt is in Manchester for his first European event of the year tomorrow, a 150-metre street race on a specially constructed track.
